Location was great . The cabin was lovely . I loved the little things they did to show care...the way the fireplace was prepared..there were LOTS of tea bags. There was glad wrap for the sandwiches . Charming and lovely

Experience luxury in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is an award-winning wilderness lodge located on the edge of the National Park and is 2 hours’ drive from Launceston and 75 minutes’ drive from Devonport.

The lodge is beautifully situated at the entrance to Cradle Mountain National Park. In addition to providing very comfortable accommodation, there are several beautiful, easy walks/hikes in the area around the lodge, which make for a very enjoyable experience. Breakfasts are varied and tasty and even the casual dinner option provides very good food. Our room was very nice, especially for a rustic setting. Would recommend highly.

Boasting cottages and holiday cabins with cooking facilities, Discovery Parks - Cradle Mountain is just 800 metres from The Wilderness Gallery. Guests have access to laundry and BBQ facilities.

Each cabin and cottage has a refrigerator, microwave, kitchenware and tea/coffee making facilities. All include a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some cottages feature a spa bath and gas fire.

We had to add an extra night to our booking and the staff were extra considerate and friendly to deal with, luckily they were able to accommodate us to the Deluxe Cabin which exceeded our expectations in every sense! From the modern furniture, linens and kitchen appliances, we were blown away by the space provided to us. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway with family and friends.

Cradle Mountain Village is located in a secluded setting on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Visitor Centre and 10 minutes’ drive to the start of the Overland Track.

It's hard to tell exactly what you're getting from the pictures for this property, but from the moment we arrived, we instantly regretted not being able to stay longer. The feel is rustic, but in a very clean way. Our room was perfectly laid-out for a family of 4, with bedrooms on either end and a big living/dining area in between. We loved having our own little self-contained cabin in the woods; we even woke up to a very friendly wallaby outside our front door! Our daughters loved the jacuzzi tub for bath-time, and we all appreciated the electric blankets on the beds during the chilly winter night. Staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed relaxing while our girls colored and read in the lounge in the evening. It's great that the hotel has its own little trail that leads straight to the Cradle Mountain Visitors' Center (we were iced in the morning we left, so it was very convenient to still be able to reach the park.) And let's not forget the complimentary freshly-bottled milk on tap available throughout the stay! 3/4 of us are avid milk drinkers, so that little touch was a big highlight! We're already scheming a longer trip back to the Cradle area so we can stay here again!

The cabins were well kept and the gas fireplace really kept the whole cabin warm throughout our stay. The jacuzzi tub was a great way to relax the muscles are all the walks that we did at Cradle Mountain. Himalayan bath salt was also provided which was great. Parking is right outside the cabin which is convinient.

Great location, very friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy rooms and amenities. Great advice on activities and what hikes to do at cradle. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again if ever visiting cradle mountain again. Oh and thank you for my birthday bottle of wine and birthday card! Was a lovely surprise!

Spent a night of our honeymoon here and it was fantastic. The fireplaces and recreation room was lovely. Staff were super friendly and great all round. We had a buffet dinner there and it was the best food we had in all our stays of Tasmania

The lodge knew it was our 50th wedding anniversary and upgraded us to a cabin with fire and spa bath. Later they delivered a bottle of sparkling wine. When we had dinner in the restaurant, which was exceptional, I was delivered a plate decorated with chocolate and maccarons, meringues, etc. We were made to feel really special.

The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We travelled for our honeymoon and when they found out, they upgraded our room and gave us a free breakfast. We LOVED the nature walk around the hotel and the information on things to do around the hotel was amazing. The sunken lounge near our room had a lovely wood fire which was great for a cold rainy day..

The beautiful warm cosy apartment. We stayed at the Pine ones. We had a fantastic meal at the Highlands Restaurant, the service was exceptional and the meal was cooked to perfection. Breakfast had everything you would want. We also ate at the bistro which was also good. Both of us had steak and cooked just as we asked for. My highlights would have to be the wombats, the beautiful walks and the best place to relax and unwind. It was our honeymoon and as a lovely gesture the sent a bottle of sparkling wine to our room with a special card.
