Riad Semlalia was an absolutely beautiful guesthouse, the staff of Ali and Ahmed were beyond hospitable, and the location was great -- just inside the Medina walls but in a quieter area. The bustling souq was just a 10 minute walk away. This felt like a very luxurious stay. The breakfast was over the top. The room was very comfortable. The rooftop was stunning. Again, Ali and Ahmed both did everything they could to ensure a great visit to Fes, including arranging for a day trip, laundry, and train tickets.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests. Great place to stay. Cosy place with nice atmosphere. The staff was super helpful in organising tours for us around Fes and to Blue City. The breakfast was excellent! If you are arriving late at night would be best to inform the staff so someone can wait for you where the taxi will drop you. The narrow streets could be chalanging to navigate at night even using google maps. All in all, very happy with the stay. Definitely recommended.

Very kind, helpful and organized. They offered to arrange a taxi to meet our bus and take us to their Riad. They escorted us to the restaurant and arranged to have someone from the restaurant walk us back to the Riad. They deserve an 11 for service.

But the real highlight is the host Abdul that was super helpful giving us tips, suggesting us what to see and where to eat and shop. He is also always ready to sit and chat a bit making you really feel like friends at his home. Totally suggest staying in this riad.

Go for Riad Moulaydriss et Giacomo, amazing!! We were welcomed by Boutal with a Moroccan Tea / cookies and got a short introduction by the owner of the riad about Fes. It is an amazing place to stay, very close to the medina with a lot of food options around it. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you. The room was spacious and very clean. don't forget to go up and enjoy their rooftop while sipping on a Tea.
