Beautiful Corner house with a pool embedded in wood. Super friendly staff, nice rooms and a delicious breakfast. Felt at home from the very first minute. Even had a complimentary wine tasting right at the pool. Everything in Franschhoek in walking distance

We had a great stay at Corner House Residence. The rooms were nice with comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. The breakfast was amazing, our favourite of all the places we stayed in South Africa. Fantastic location, easily walkable to the Main Street of Franschoek.

Staff friendly, helpful and ready to assist with requests. We felt very at home during our stay and could access the property on foot and had onsite parking. The residence is in walking distance from the main centre and restaurants. Franschhoek is a very safe and quiet town. The breakfast was AMAZING. Fresh and local produce, made with love. Our room was well appointed with no need to ask for anything else. Spacious bathroom with large shower and natural light.

Incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated room and bathroom. Staff on site were lovely. We ordered a cheese platter and it was more than ample and delicious ! Great location to walk into town.

There wasn't much privacy for the room but luckily for two of the nights the residence was quiet so we were able to open the curtains of the french doors and the side window without concern for other guests looking in.

The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating without being intrusive. The location is excellent - it's a short walk into town, making it perfect for enjoying the Wine Tram and other delights without worrying about driving. The bathroom is enormous - almost larger than the room itself - and is equipped with everything needed. Parking is off-street and secure. The swimming pool was being renovated while we were there (it being winter), but I can imagine it being the ideal place for a lazy late afternoon after a day of sight-seeing in summer.

There is no central gathering place for quests to sit and meet each other throughout the day and evening.

The appearance and location of the property. Nice quiet street and lovely grounds and gardens. Also, the breakfast was very good and I like the breakfast room with the wood fire.

Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles, fortunately not all rooms were booked so we could make a plan. Just a note to future visitors, this room over looks the hills and mountains, but also the solar panels. Fortunately they are neat so not an eyesore.

The room (room 8 upper floor) was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Electric blanket, aircon and fireplace to keep away the cold. Nice kitchenette to prepare basics with a minibar with good mix of drinks. Shower has good water flow and even a pair of robes to wear after. Within walking distance of some nice restaurants.

After hours the staff are not on site, and unreachable via WhatsApp for any questions/needs which is super inconvenient. Also be sure to check in before 6pm because they leave the property around that time

One of my best stays in SA! The location cannot be beat, the bed had a mattress’s warmer which I’ve never seen so that was life changing. The room is super spacious and the shower was also life changing. Hot and great pressure. The staff was kind

only rooibosch tea as choice of tea in room but when i asked for "normal" tea ,very willing to oblige and sorted out in no time
