That the family suite did not have an additional bathroom. Would have been greatl if it had an additional toilet and a shower. Lighting in rooms during load shedding was absent. Would have been great if torches or some form of lighting could be made available. Could be handed to guests upon arrival and handed back to reception upon check out in order to keep record that guests don't depart with it. Fortunately, we had our torch with us to light up the room. I had a challenge with the wifi. Could not access wifi. Breakfast was ok, but not a variety. Limited variety of fruit. Had to ask for muesli because it was not amongst the cereals that was displayed. If we did not ask, would not have known that hotel had muesli. Consider serving baked beans with breakfast which most of hotel include in breakfast menu.

Room was clean. Bathroom very modern and the bed was very comfortable. Coffee was lovely. Will visit hotel again.

in my opinion the hotel couldn’t cope with managing the hotel guests as well as the rest of their activities in connection with the festival. Dining hall breakfast buffet had no honey, no large serving plates, no sugar substitute sachets for a diabetic, no chutney condiments. The water and milk in the room wasn’t replenished after the first day. Standard answer given by staff was that these items were being used for the other functions which the hotel was catering for. I think that the hotel was short staffed over a very busy time in Oudtshoorn.

the shower was leaking, shower head was leaking, extractor fan not working. they said they could not fix the extractor fan do I want to move, so I expected the other things were fixed. it was not. the mattresses really really needs to be replaced.

I think they need to clean the pond so we can see the fish.

I liked that they had a package for all runners and had breakfast ready at 4am for the runners doing the Kango. Room was just what we needed. Loved the building and courtyard. Was close to everything we needed. Staff were very helpful and worked hard.

Hotel is very central located, walking distance to main restaurants in town. Breakast was great, so were the hotel facilities and rooms. Great shower and great mattress. Definitely recommend it

Coffee at Breakfast was terrible.

Dinner restaurant was overbooked, staff made a plan, they were understaffed but did their best, food was 7/10 but tasty and on time. Breakfast was basic, coffee was terrible. Afternoon spent with a cold beer at the pool was great, also had a snack at the Deli downstairs that operated during load shedding and made a fantastic burger.

Attentive staff who went out of their way to make our honeymoon special. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very value for money for a stay in this beautiful town.
