Peaceful little town close to the N2, nice concept with different styled buildings with nice restaurant on site. Excellent breakfast included.

When we arrived in our room, we discovered that the heater and TV weren't working, and there was a single heated blanket on the double bed. We had to report this to management twice before we were moved to a different room.😔

The breakfast was delicious 😋 The location was also good.

Bed was making noise😢😢 Electric blanket was not working. Our room didn’t have a couch but had an extra single bed, what for cause we didn’t mention we are bringing a third person. Rather put a couch.

The shower head in our room was missing, but this didn't bother us too much. The ou de Martha restaurant and the hunters pub have the same menu and it was a little limited, but the food was still very good.

Very interesting location, close to lots of places to eat and activities. The old pub was very charming (thanks Roderick for lighting the fireplace for us). The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

tv in the room do not display all the channels i need to watch sport and international news cnn, rugby ect shower head has to be replaced our new one fitted more towels

the barn rooms are cold, the air con does not get warm , there is no door on the bathroom and it is too dark. lighting not great for getting hair make up etc done. after showering the whole room is steamed up due to there being no door. no view of the mountains

The breakfast and coffee was below standards at other hotels we stayed at on garden route but still fine for a couple of days. Everything else was spot on.

The place is very tranquil, set in lovely grounds and the room that we had in the old stables was perfect for a couple of nights. The stretch of road the hotel itself is on is extremely quiet but has most of the things you need and you'll spend most of your time on trips or excursions elsewhere using this hotel as a base which makes it absolutely perfect for how it is priced.

Lovely comfortable accomodation in beautiful location. Food at on site restsurant was very good and great value. Lovely breakfast too. The on site brewery was a bonus !

Lovely old world hotel. Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms, comfy beds, lovely ensuite bathrooms with excellent water pressure. Breakfast abundant choice. Very friendly staff. Perfect location in middle of quiet and quaint Tsitsikamma village from where many outdoor adventure activities depart

We were initially allocated a room with a brick wall view and had to pay more for a better room, where they charged per person rather than per room.

The whole of the old shooting lodges were renovted tastefully to be hotel/lodge accommodation. We liked the lawns, big room & space, plus the garden views

I loved everything about this place and would suggest maybe looking at traditional cuisine to make the experience even better.

I loved the uniqueness and authenticity of this village. It is unlike anything I've seen before. There is so much to see and do in the vicinity. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

There are 3 restaurants all with the same menu, more choise of food items may be appreciated. The rooms are not provided with a fridge.

The site is very beautiful and is walking distance to the TSitsikama forest
