We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The shower was small, the couch was grubby, the basket of brochures was filthy, the crockery was mismatched pieces, there was no courtesy milk in the fridge. All these type of issues add up and is the reason why a superb rating in the 9's is not justified.

SingaporeChecking in was haphazard, we reached slightly later than expected (still within the check-in timing of 3-7pm) which was conveyed via the app. This is probably our fault; we already informed them at the earliest opportunity but perhaps this could have been conveyed even earlier. We tried calling the number indicated on booking.com on arrival numerous times but we were unable to get through. Thankfully, the gates opened after pressing the bell at the gate a couple of times, and we were able to get the car in after some maneuvering around the 2 very enthusiastic and very large dogs. The dogs are not necessarily a con, but may be good to note for those who might not be at ease with them, as they will immediately attempt to jump on you after alighting from the car. Thankfully the host's son came by after a while to give us the keys and a very brief introduction to the place-- he tried to help us to calm the dogs down somewhat, but it would have been better if he could stay long enough for us to get the luggages up the stairs into the house, as the dogs came bounding out after he left and it was quite difficult to calm them down on our own.
It was a great and comfortable stay with the appropriate amenities available. The loadshedding only affects the washing machine and oven, everything else works as intended. Also very close to Robberg Nature Reserve, great location for an early start.

This is an excellent place to stay for anyone visiting Plettenberg. The apartment is really comfortable and has everything you could need. The host is very accommodating and friendly as well and had plenty of suggestions for us on things to do around the bay. She was also very quick to respond to our queries and communications. It's in a very nice neighborhood and close to all the key spots around the bay. Would definitely like to come back and stay here again.

United KingdomHosts / property owners are very hands-off and there wasn't enough information given about where to find towels, etc. The place doesn't really work for three as the bathroom is an en-suite, which means the third guest has to go through the bedroom in the middle of the night.
A nice little self-contained flat. Lovely seating and dining area outside. Place well-suited for a couple.
