The bed was very comfortable and big, we slept so well! The studio was clean, located just off the main road in a quiet street and at walking distance from shops, supermarket and restaurants. Perfect for our short stay in Franschhoek and the staff were very kind and accommodating.

A personal preference, but I like showers with fully closing doors. The shower in our room's bathroom only had a half glass panel, which makes taking showers a little breezy and cold. The layout of the accommodation is also a bit weird, but this was probably because we didn't access the property through the main entrance (since we arrived after check in hours). Although Franschhoek is safe and there is parking available on the property, the parking is still outside and accessible from the street (but at least there is security around all the time).

We arrived quite late, even after the stipulated latest check in time. Yet, we were accommodated by being able to check in by ourselves. We obtained the keys to our room through a key box with a code provided to us prior to our arrival. This self check in procedure helps a lot for when you are traveling and don't know when you will be arriving at the hotel. The security (whose on duty 24/7) helped us park our car so that we didn't have to walk too far with our bags to our room. When we arrived to our room, there was no electricity. We quickly phoned the accommodation's staff and a gentleman came to help us within a few minutes. It was discovered that there was something wrong with the electricity just within our room specifically, and we were swifty moved to another room that had electricity without any hassles or problems. The staff's professionalism and helpfulness was amazing. Our room had great amenities and was comfortable. The accommodation's location is close to everything, especially if you're wanting to do the Franschhoek wine tram experience (a must do when in Franschhoek). This is a great accommodation pick if you're looking for value for money.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. Not criticisms but a few suggestions - a rechargeable nightlight at the foot of the stairs would be helpful as the open stairs can be a little daunting in the dark. A few hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes/gown on whilst showering and a mirror near socket.

Wow! So much thought has gone into this lovely little ‘village’. We loved it! The self catering unit was in excellent condition and super clean. It is within easy walking (5 mins) distance of the main part of town. Big bathroom with an efficient shower and plenty of shelves to put your wash bag etc on. The kitchen had every thing you need. The bedroom had bedside lights and electric sockets on both sides of the bed (hurray!). Also useful information that the (rechargeable) lights will work during loadshedding and how to use them. The skylight is a lovely touch to add natural light to the bedroom, which could otherwise be a little dark. There is also a little private patio. We were so impressed with this hotel and would definitely use it again.

As the units are all next to each other, if you have bad luck and have noisy neighbors, it can get loud at night. Bring earplugs 😉

The neighbourgood concept is a really cool one, with units lined up next to each other, each offering all of the relevant amenities for a self-catering room. The room is also beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts contact you via WhatsApp the day before your arrival and are very responsive and informative. The location is great and close to what looks like a delicious bakery (it was sadly closed on the day we were there).

If something is happening in the corridor, you would probably hear it in the room, as the walls are pretty weak and there are some windows facing in the hallway. But the place was pretty quiet, so didn’t disturb me much

Amazing location and very comfortable stay! Great and friendly staff! I stayed for one night, the accommodation is right next to the Wine Tram terminal, which was perfect for me. The room is spacious and very comfortable.
