I rented two separate apartments during my stay. There is no air circulation because the central part of the building is a like a sealed container. The heat and humidity in both apartments was simply unbearable. The air extractors and fans did not help. Please get decent fans that target low lying areas and not ceilings. I also expected access to the pool but was told it was not available despite it being depicted in pictures. Best to get lower wooden chairs for sitting at the kitchen counter.

Despite following instructions to call 30mins ahead of arrival, getting access to the apartment took almost 1hr, the excuse being signal is bad in the building. No air conditioning in apartment, we were there during a heatwave, one small fan for the whole apartment. Clean(ish) but not well maintained, stained couch, dirty freezer compartment in fridge, clean but threadbare bed linen, broken waste bin. No clear instructions on where to leave rubbish. Had to ask for access card to pool.

Affordable, great location, secure, generator during loadshedding. The apartment had all basic requirements.

That there was no house keeping and we were not told about it and the pool area looked nothing like the pictures, so we could not swim.

Access control between the building and the neighbouring building where the gym and pool are located was not clearly explained to me on arrival

I had to wait very long to check-in. Check in was at 15h00 and when I called to check-in at that time, I was told the room wasn’t ready, and I should wait for another hour which I did. When I eventually got to the property I still had to wait another 20-30min at the security to be checked in and handed the keys.

It’s in town. Close to shops which I really liked.

The stove top that didn't warm/heat up properly. I had to make use of the oven and microwave cause the stove plates never heated up properly to even fry an egg.

The crockery was inadequate, with no porridge plates, glasses, and 1 cup for 3 people. The window latches had come off and due to the terrible winds, we could not sleep with the noise and cold, had to put our matrices in the lounge and sleep on floor but the noise was terrible. They need to re-seal the windows as big gaps. No coffee or tea to welcome us to our first free cup. The one single matrices needs replacing due to sagging in the middle.

Mitchelle was an excellent hostess, she is a keep sake. Helped us out with all our complaints. The decor is beautiful. Very clean. Security excellent. Nice location and people outside don't horrace you due to security guards all around. Will come again as price is reasonable.

There's this constant beeping outside the lounge window and the lounge window doesnt close properly. So trying to fall asleep isn't easy
