not all light bulbs were working. main bedroom did not have a lightbulb in the bedside table. no sponge provided for washing up dishes.

It was mostly clean on the inside, but not everywhere. The outside area was not clean at all. There is a lack of utilities, like not bread knife for example. That should be basic. No washing up cloth.

Management of the property can be better. When we got there after our check-in time, the property wasn't cleaned yet. We didn't receive any notification of this issue. We also heard that other geusts experienced the same issue. This was apparently due to other guests not checking out on time. Things like this should be monitored closely and guests should be informed. Wrong address provided on Booking.com. Multiple numbers to contact. One specific number should be designated.

Code for lock box was wrong. Phoned numbers on Whatsapp and nobody answers. Phoned another number they supplied and guy said he had not worked there for 2 months! Wi-fi code was wrong on whatsapp. Nobody answers the numbers supplied if you have a problem.

When we entered the heaters were switched on and it was cozy and warm inside, which was nice seeing that it was icecold outside.

It took a while to get the hot tub going, so I had to buy 3 packets of firewood. Could be my fire starting skills are bad but it was totally worth it.

Loved the Jacuzzi/Hot tub, it was really a refreshing experience. Loved the parking space which was right outside the bedroom window.

We were asked to send a copy of the ID documents of all guests on the day of check-in by Maruška. We were a party of 12, Collecting this and relaying it prior to arrival would have been a painful exercise. A very strange request, that I challenged. The answer was that it was strictly necessary due to their rules & regulations and to protect them against any potential damages. Bizarre as I had booked through booking.com and paid for everything up front. Against my better judgement, I sent a copy of my own and told her that I would accept liability for any damages. This wasn't good enough, she insisted. A few messages and phone calls later, it was accepted that this wasn't in fact necessary. Maybe next time, don't request meaningless documentation that inconveniences your guests! If this is a requirement state it up front or ask for it as part of the booking process. If you had done so, I would not have booked with you as it's a ridiculous requirement. Insisting on a cash payment for the wood we used in the hot tubs is also silly. Why could we not have settled this via EFT?

The property was great, nice comfy bed, good location. The rooms were reasonably well equipped. Decent wine-glasses and some ice would have been a plus.

A wonderful stay --no complaints! Want to give acknowledge Spencer (I hope that is his corret name)---he assisted us when we checked into B&B cottages-which all went wrong! He took over from there and very graciously assisted us in organizing alternative accommodation at your lodge. A gracious man--look after him!

We did not like the fact that there is no stove to cook food..only a microwave and toaster was available. There was a mini bar fridge which we had to use so we could not buy food to store. There also was not a proper curtain by the door but a camping sail-type curtain which did not do good for privacy as we had to constantly pull it close.

The location was nice close to amenities and the beach. We loved the hospitality and the people in the area who was all very welcoming and friendly

Please provide a small stove & a pot for the Mint Cottage. Also a broom and a mop would be nice. The bathroom is a bit small; struggled to move around. Please look into making 1 cottage accessible for a disabled person.

All rooms on the ground floor with easy access. Very clean and comfortable. Setup is very nice and the braai facilities handy. Very close to the shops and to the beach.

We were 4 guest but there wasn’t enough glasses for 4 people and some pots was still unwashed from previous guests. Unsecured parking just off the street. There is only candles available for during loadshedding periods.

We would have liked it if the DSTV was full package. We watch TV in the evening and there was not much to watch and it was rugby that we couldnt watch
