Nothing-everything was fantastic

We all loved everything about this place, stunning location, lovely staff, great views, clean and well equipped, comfy beds, this was my favourite of all the places we stayed in over a three week trip to SA. Hosts were fabulous, helpful and kind and genuine in their desire to serve us and also to be sustainable and environmentally friendly. Couldn’t fault anything!

They do not allowed people bring out the furniture but they didn't provide nothing to relax outside just an old bunch. Outside is 100% better than inside.

We were hoping to relax on the premises prior to taking possession of the cain at 15:00, which is a rather late entry time. However, this wasn't possible. Next time, we'll stay longer...

The cabin is situated in a beautiful, secluded and private spot. Facilities provided are excellent and clean. We would have loved to have more time to explore the many hiking trails before dark.

The 20km gravel road is a challenge and should not be attempted without a utility vehicle.

The road to the cabin. Roadworks and it is quite far from the main road. On the other hand, it is secluded and quiet. Just not great if you have to travel every day. I missed a vegetable peeler and a grater. The plug in the main bedroom is difficult to reach to charge your phone.

The setting is quiet and beautiful. The cabins living areas are spacious and walk out on a big deck. Dishwasher. Enough cutlery and crockery to use before you need to use the dishwasher. Super clean. Would have loved to stay longer than the 2 nights we had booked. It is a little piece of heaven on earth. I have never seen separate towels for dying hair or removing makeup!! So thoughtful.

Nothing not to like.

We loved the wonderful deck area from where one could enjoy the view down to the river. Waking up with the sounds of running water and nature was wonderful... We would wake up in the morning and open the patio doors to enjoy the sounds. Our hosts were wonderfully hospitable. They offered an earlier check in and were a great source of information. We enjoyed everything but have to mention the great beds, huge bathtub, modern and well stocked kitchen, firearea, hot tub, comfy living room sofas ect, ect, ect!

The location was fantastic. We always look for some tranquility after work. The sound of the river in the background, and the natural beauty were just perfect, and could not ask for more. The early morning hike was also fantastic. Gay was also most helpful and made sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. Will most definitely stay over again when in the Hoedspruit.

The bed slightly a bit uncomfortable and would be nice if check out can be from 10h00 instead of 9h00 so we can enjoy the beautiful morning on the deck

The sound of the river, the cabin is super clean and its home Away from home would love to try the hiking trail and stay more days. Highly recommend for relaxation 👌 😎

We absolutely loved our stay at Blyde River Cabins! A little cabin tucked into the woods right next to the river with wildlife roaming around. The cottage was spacious and well equipped and we each had our own bathrooms, which is always a perk! The hosts were really helpful and recommended activities. There is so much to do in the area - from caves to boat tours and hiking! We hope to be able to return to this piece of paradise one day. Thank you Gay and Willem!

I loved every minute of our stay. There is nothing I could complain about!

Being a totally self-catering facility, you are responsible for your own meals. The cooking facilities are exceptional, and if they haven't got it, it doesn't exist! Very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms.

There are no restaurants.i was afraid to go near the river as the surrounding was scary.there are logs and too many bushes if only they can clean a little part of the river so people can be able to relax

It is very clean,and there is privacy and anything that you will need for a self catering home

The other room that have 2 single bed you must put double bed sheet so that couple can share together
