I was really cold here, even with the electric blanket turned on (only one side of the bed seemed to work - unless I just hadn't found the socket for where the blanket on the left side of the bed was plugged in). I know it was the end of winter, but I didn't expect my accommodation to be that cold. Maybe a central heating system isn't common in South Africa?

Very friendly host, in what feels like a safe residential neighbourhood. Cute additions like a chocolate on the pillow, a jar of biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities, and fairylights. There was an electric blanket, which was very much needed!

Great location in central Stellenbosch with secure off-street parking. Close to access roads and shopping center. Very friendly and accommodating host. Fridge, kettle, milk and rusks provided, even if the breakfast option was not taken, which was a very nice touch. Perfect for short stay for work purposes.

The wooden floors caused a bit of noise when the resident above my room walked around their unit. Negligible.

Provisions made for cold weather were highly appreciated. Tea counter was also beautifully set and sufficiently stocked up.

The guest house was a little further than we thought to walk into the town but we managed to walk there & get an Uber back which was very reasonable.

We had breakfast in the garden & Liza-Mari cooked a very nice breakfast for us & there was also a selection of continental items. Liza-Mari recommended an excellent restaurant & made a reservation for us & also assisted in planning a route to visit wineries & the airport. Room was a very good size, very clean with cooking facilities, desk & sitting area & very homely & relaxing. There was also a patio outside the room with table & chairs. We were able to park securely inside the gates of the property.

In the description at the Bookingsite airconditioning in the rented unit was listed, but there is none. During our stay it was quite hot and there is a ventilator, but unfortunately the load shedding was during the nights, so it were some sweaty nights ;)

The atmosphere of this B&B was great! It had a homely feel to it. We were in one of the smaller rooms, but it also had a small terras, part of the communal guarden. The hostess makes you feel very welcome! Secure parking, close to the city center (but by night we did use the car to go in town), breakfast included.

The breakfast was very nice, the locations was the best, very close to the shops. There is a little pool which was lovely the property has very nice finishes to it, the aircon was nice and cold, and the bed was very comfortable. I will book with Absolute Guest House, again when we decide to stay in Stellenbosch.

Had a great stay. The room was very nice and spacious and taken care off. There is a lovely garden with a swimming pool as well. Location is also very nice in a lovely street. The host can also provide you with all the info you need to have a great stay in Stellenbosch. Was very happy to stay here.
