The property was nice, the parking area clean, the neighborhood was quiet. You can walk down the street and you’re at the beach. The beach is beautiful, the community is friendly.

Should have restored rather than paint over the vintage mural that was painted by the late and renowned surf artist Glenn Chase. Big mistake, huge.

I worked across the street from this location for 30 years off and on, so it feels like home.

I would prefer that the rooms were cleaned at least every other day.

Location was perfect. Personnel was friendly and of great help. The room was perfect size for my family with all the amenities nearby. Coffee was good, plenty of towels. Nearby breakfast spot was great.

Not so close (walking distance) to La Jolla “center”. Not a problem if you have a car!

The walls are paper thin. Unfortunately for us, there was a wedding party who had a whole block of the hotel booked and they were hanging out (loudly) right outside our door. I realize this isn’t the hotel’s fault but… maybe they could have planned to put us in a different area of the hotel? Or maybe it wouldn’t have mattered. We heard every footstep and every door open/closing during our stay. We also found odd brown stains on the bed linens and 1 of the towels which was gross. Overall, the location is great if you want to stay in La Jolla but not so convenient to downtown or any other “tourist” spots. ADA note: there is no elevator so if you can’t do a flight of stairs or don’t want to, this isn’t for you.

Very reasonably priced for the area, there are many restaurants, cafes and even a market that are easily walkable. The highlight is that the gorgeous Windansea Beach is an easy walk away. The bed was comfortable and the pool & hot tub were nice.

As soon as the person upstairs woke up (very early) there was no going back to sleep. We heard every single step and movement which as frustrating.

Parking was a little tight, especially when other patrons parked with no consideration of others.

Maid Service - we were there 3 nights Another mirror in the room would be very helpful since the bathroom is the only one with one. Chairs they provided us to use at the beach were broken. Parking is very tight and limited, and you have to pay to park nightly.

Beach is very close, and location is pretty central to La Jolla. Beds are comfortable and room is updated.

Good location, not in centre of La Jolla but couple of bars and restaurants nearby. La Jolla makes a good base and only 20 mins to Balboa Park or Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego..

Parking Charge, but could park on road if an issue.

Great location, 2 mins from beach and 20 min walk into central La Jolla. Located in a good part of town with local cafes, restaurants and bars. Upmarket motel style accommodation. Very modern and clean throughout. Excellent bed and huge TV. Good quality AC. Everything you’d expect from a larger hotel chain but more personable service. Highly recommend and excellent value.

The rooms were noisy. Get an upstairs room if you can as being downstairs meant you could hear every footstep of those above. I did not appreciate my email address being shared with other guests. It’s advertise as free parking but there is a $15 per night fee. Not huge but should be made clear

We liked the location, the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. There were laundry facilities for a small fee which was great. A cute little pool and hot tub and the staff were very friendly.

the pool is small and could of done with a few more chairs but thats being a bit picky.

It would have been nice to have breakfast options and not to have to pay for parking. There seemed to be plenty of street parking nearby, so it seemed unnecessary to pay for the parking. We had a hard time having towels and swimsuits dry, probably because of humidity and we only had one hook in the bathroom.

The location was great for our trip, we enjoyed walks to the beach for sunsets and being close to La Jolla coves. The staff were all friendly.
