Breakfast is a bit poor, just a few things should be added and it would be perfect: at least one juice, ham, eggs. that's it, as everything is sweet.

As noted, some of the prior reviews were accurate about the partying at the back side of the building and the old-fashioned interiors, but I’m glad I wasn’t swayed by that. Breakfast was also limited, although as advertised. I poured myself some coffee and bought a sandwich at a nice deli down the street.

I love lower Manhattan, so the location was great. I read in prior comments about noise from the bars and such on the next street, but I wasn’t bothered by that. The desk attendant did move me to a front room (without my asking) when she saw I’d booked a room with 2 beds and I was traveling by myself. She mentioned the noise, which I didn’t think would’ve been a problem. The colonial style of the room was as others have noted a little dated, but it was really a charming room with huge windows on two sides and great light.

The aircon was rather loud but you cannot do without in summer so ear plugs during night are recommended.

The hotel is located right at Wall Street, few minutes walking distance from many attractions, shops, subway, the Ferry and more. The hotel has got a classic-style furnishing which has got it's charm. The breakfast is basic but all you need for a good start into the day - coffee, tea, bagels, butter, yoghurt, pastry and a machine for pancakes.

The entrance was hard to find.

The room and building were so beautiful like a fancy older hotel and the price was so reasonable. The breakfast area was so cute and cozy.

No tea or coffee in the room, available in the dining room, but a trek to go and get it. The front of the hotel is covered by scaffolding, so a little difficult to locate in the taxi.

Beautiful place with a lovely lobby and conveniently located near everything. The accommodation was clean and tastefully decorated with classical items for those who appreciate such touches. The room was spacious enough for a family of four. It’s ideally situated for viewing the Statue of Liberty or taking the ferry, and is close to other tourist attractions. Public transport is easily accessible with bus stops nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The neighborhood is great for walking. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather in the USA; it was soothing to return to a cool room with a quiet and efficient AC, unlike the previous hotel we had stayed. However we stayed here for 1 day as we had to head to Yale, therefore my observations may or not differ if we stayed longer.

What a great place…clean,cozy,and QUIET… I barely heard anything the entire time I was there. The room was very comfortable great bed. The shower worked perfectly and the bathroom was fine. bonus points for having a refrigerator in the room..and directly next door is a fantastic wine and liquor store..really cool place with an incredible selection. The locations in the financial district which years ago was empty, but now there’s plenty of restaurants and places to eat.

The breakfast was extremely poor, it's not the level of a hotel for such the price. Also the look from my windows was to somebody's office which was 5 meters from my window, so I had to close the windows with the curtains. Also one of the managers pointed the route to the breakfast room with a knife - I don't like it at all.
