Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomSadly the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday nights (the 2 nights I stayed) so there was not much going on in the hotel whilst I was there - it was very quiet. I was told that it’s a great place for cocktails (when open!). It would also have been great to have some comfortable loungers by the pool rather than just upright chairs.
The location was great with good coffee shops and eateries and Shelter Island all within walking distance. The room was very clean and airy. The bed was so comfortable and the toiletries provided were great too. The hotel is small and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful.

United Statessome aspects of the hotel are looking a little tired. all the extra fees add up and really increase the overall nightly charge. the resort fee is a bit silly, given the winter time pool (shaded and not really heated enough to go in) situation.
Third time at the pearl. we like the aesthetic over typical hotels. the restaurant is convenient and has good quality snacks and local beer on tap. bar/restaurant staff are great.
