I didn’t like that the bathroom toilet was not working properly. Upon flushing the toilet with minimal tissue being used, it would not flush properly. Also it would have been nice to arrive with the freezer and fridge already being cold and ready to use.

I liked the location. Our hotel stay was fairly quiet and peaceful. Location was nice because you could find things to do that was not far away.

Anything I “didn’t like” was simply because we didn’t take advantage of it. Like the kitchenette, which seems very convenient, wasn’t used.

It was a great way to get away from the NYE festivities, like fireworks and gun shots. I already have a love for Novi, but Staybridge made it very comfy and easy to bring in the New Year worry free.

Our room was on the first floor and the guests above us were either walking loud or jumping in the middle of the night. We were woken up at 2am from the noise 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend asking for a room on the 2nd floor.

The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the hot breakfast was very good and they had afternoon snacks a couple nights we were there. The staff was very nice and friendly. My kids loved the indoor pool.

HVAC a bit noisy. Upstairs neighbours had kids and we could hear their foot steps (kids running around). Neither were deal breakers.

Value for money. Location was perfect for us. Staff were great. Very good breakfast. Good food at reception hours. Clean.

When we were getting ready for bed, my children found bugs in the mattress. I spoke to the manager who told me “they weren’t bed bugs, they are the bugs they get in the summer so I can’t give you back your money. You can leave but you’re responsible for paying”. After going back and forth with her, she got upset because I wasn’t backing down about paying for the room, she called the police and has since double charged my card I had on file. I’m currently working with my bank to get this resolved. TERRIBLE customer service from the manager, Amber. TERRIBLE level of cleanliness.

Everything was great! The location was nice and the surrounding area was very quiet. The beds were comfortable, the room and hotel were clean and very well taken care of, and breakfast was delicious! The hotel was under construction but that didn't bother us at all. My son and I were there for 10 days with many others for Junior Gold, which is a huge National Youth Bowling Tournament that happens once a year. I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing staff! We were just about to leave for his first day of qualifying which was in Sterling Heights (35 min away) and had just finished loading my son's bowling equipment in the car, when I locked my keys in the trunk. I panicked and ran to the front desk for help. It was a horrible feeling because if my son missed this particular day, we would've had to leave and go back to Virginia. Jerry happened to be working that shift and was able to help me. He made some calls for me and gave me helpful suggestions. Long story short, I was able to get my keys out and we made it to the center with 10 minutes to spare before the tournament started! At one point I was running down the hallway and I apologize if I bumped into anyone! The young lady LaLa was very helpful in answering all my questions when we first checked in as well. I would definitely recommend this Staybridge and would stay here again. Thank you!

Double dipped on the security deposit and even when I brought to their attention did not return the unauthorized second charge. The hot water was sporadic, ice machine didn’t work in room. The tv in bedroom was in need of replacement.. amenities were few and far Between , not all electrical outlets worked. In our opinion not the best value for the overpriced suite. I expected better from a normally classy place.
