Honestly I can’t think of anything. Parts of it felt a little dated, but we liked the charm it added. I can’t really fault this hotel at all.

We loved how spacious the room was, the balcony had a lovely view, with the ocean peaking through. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily with fresh water provided, and the aircon was great - made for perfect sleeping!

The only thing I could mention is it’s an old hotel and all facilities in the room are old.

So clode to the beach, shops and cafes its location is perfect. The staff is very sweet and helpful. The bar has a decent menu and good quality food.

Parking System. It so happen that my request for parking was not for our duration of stay at the property. It was on a daily basis due to our car rental was on a daily basis too decision. The card key is being updated based on our parking request. There was one staff said that she updated our card key but the following day upon exiting the garage, our card key was not working. That day we had a plan for a very early hike but was held. Good that there was a parking staff that was on duty.

Location and one particular Front Desk Staff Kaori was so friendly and helpful. She knows the meaning of Client First and Client Service!

Particularly loved their activities program and the Aloha spirit of the Hotel. It really cared to explain the history and culture of Hawaii. All the staff were friendly and genuine, especially the lady who does the Sunrise ceremony and the story tellers. The guys around the pool, Jeff at the desk, and the cleaners were all so helpful it really made us feel welcome. Being a part of the Moana was great giving more options and we loved the dance music by David Swanson at night just inside the foyer for a bit of holiday fun. Both hotels are relaxing and in the best position on the beach. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Dont worry about the lifts, pretty minor, and everyone friendly having a chat. A great hotel, stayed level 17 facing Diamond Head, and view fantastic, refurbishment great!

Unfortunately we were there for the 3 day staff strike, which left us collecting our own towels and other amenities, also removing our own rubbish downstairs. which was a bit off putting. and also it was the Bank holiday weekend did not help with hotel crowds another concern was the lifts in the hotel. we were in the tower of 29 floors and the life service was appalling, always waiting and always fully crowded. I would stay at the hotel again, but not in the tower.

Location perfect, room good, the view was amazing, on 18th floor.

No microwave, didn’t like that you had to reserve chairs by the pool and pay for them—-this should be complimentary for hotel guests

The rude and abrasive receptionist we encountered after a 10 hour flight and just the walls are paper thin and can hear everything from neighbouring rooms.

I enjoyed the property was close to everything particularly the restaurants, ABC stores and Waikiki beach just across the road.

The third day the most of the hotel staff went on strike. No turn down service, restaurant or bar service again until our last day. We had to get our own towels in the lobby, amenities (soap, lotion, etc.) The elevators don’t operate efficiently; waiting to go up and down.

The location was perfect. Beach just across the street, lots of food options nearby and shopping.

The hotel is location is great, right in the centre of waikiki, close to shops, restaurants and the beach is just 3mins walk, our room was nice , the veiw from our room balcony of the ocean and Waikiki beach was amazing !!

noise from the air con on the roof of the international shopping centre next door a little persistent during the day queues for the lifts at time but seemed to be a work in progress

The parking was quite hard since it seemed that the hotel must have been very busy so parking was a premium.

The location was right across the street from the beach which made it perfect since we were there for a canoe race.

Over priced. Got no value for " resort fee", just the usual services of any hotel.

Room service was great the first 3 days but slacking the rest of the week. Pool kept clean.
