Overall, it's a very nice hotel, loved the view from my room.

The gentlemen who checked me in didn't tell me, even though I asked about the total being charged on my card, that there was a 75.00 holding fee, which was fine, but I specifically asked if the total being charged was a certain amount & he said yes then I got charged the 75 plus a 2.49 fee for something or other. Also an employee dellivering food to a room near mine opened our door & walked in without even knocking.

The view was absolutely amazing, wish it hadn't been so cloudy. The restaurants in the lobby were nice, my daughter was very happy about the Starbucks. I didn't use the pool, but did go check it out, it was a good size.

We were not expecting to pay extra to park a car in the garage. We were already paying quite a bit for one night, and this was not a planned for expense.

    The beds were very comfortable!

It's a very nice hotel, but the delay in refunding our deposit is NOT what we expect from a 4* hotel

We stay one night on 3rd August 2024, now one month later, we are still waiting for the refund of our $75 deposit. I sent messages to the hotel, but got an out of office reply, saying that "Emily wouldn't be back until 3rd Sept (tomorrow)". I also contacted Booking.com about it, no reply from there at all. Someone from Booking.com approving this review please help! (this is my last resort as I won't have put it here if it has been resolved)

The hotel has good facilities, including a swimming pool and gym. We chose and were given a high floor and quiet room. The room was spacious and clean, the two double beds were big and comfortable. Nice view outside the window. Reception staffs were friendly and helpful.

Reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds....got there to be given one king bed. Luckily my son is young enough we could all 3 sleep in a king bed. They did give a roll away bed but it would not have fit anywhere in the room

The location was great to walk to the Transit to get anywhere we wanted to go. Staff was friendly, clean room, and we really had no issues. Only complaint was from the Art Bar restaurant. Took 45 mins for breakfast food to arrive. First it was waiting on bacon, then it was the fact they made choc chip pancakes instead of regular. When food came, my sons pancakes were so hard you couldn't cut them. The kids pancakes were clearly frozen pancakes compared to how fluffy and delish mine were. There was also no bacon. Waitress quickly corrected the issue with fresh pancakes and bacon. The person plating the food shouldn't never plated those pancakes. Very pleased how the error was corrected so chalk that up to a slight miss in the kitchen. Other than that, great hotel. I would stay there again.

The rug on the floor looked dated, and our room was right in front of the AC Units, quite noisy.

It was good. We had a good time as a family. We took advantage of the swimming pool and the hotel is well placed to get to the metro and visit Boston. The hotel is a little old, but of good quality.

The restaurant downstairs was not family friendly. Inappropriate music and staff cursing was not appreciated. Also, there was a $42 PER DAY parking fee for their own garage, and a $22 fee PER DAY for a "destination fee." This was an additional $64 daily we were not expecting.

We had a beautiful view of the river. The hotel was located in a nice part of town.

They charged my credit card a wrong amount that has been pending/blocking my balance for 5 days now. It’s annoying — I have been calling them for days but nothing so far.

We booked this particular hotel because the pool looked outdoor yet covered in case of rain or wind. Well the pool definitely needs updating since both of my kids injured themselves on the ground. My daughter had a bad cut on her toe and was bleeding, my other kid fell and hurt her ankle because the ground surrounding the pool is not level and you could see the gaps between the high/low tile.

Very well located and easy to get to. Walking distance to science museum and duck tours, and plenty of coffee shops. Staff is EXCELLENT from front desk to room service. The river views room we got is phenomenal.
