I guess there is nothing which can be done above the size of the rooms but if there were a little bit bigger it was going to be better. Otherwise it was okay.

The place was smart, with bed sheets being changed daily and on time. The location was convenient as I could walk to my work place without the need to hire a taxi. I do not mind coming there again in future.

As I mentioned in my previous comment, I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. I’m usually very happy, but this time, the front desk attendant, a younger man, who checked me in, was very cold, and couldn’t even a muster, a smile, or a welcome. I also noticed that the hallways and restrooms were not as clean and seem to be falling into slight disrepair. I’ve been loyally booking a room at this hotel for my work visits to New York City, ever since the Covid lockdown ended. It’s always been really nice, but I noticed upon this visit that the lighting was less deluxe (they used to have cool lighting in the bathrooms, which are shared, but that’s gone), the hallways seemed a little less new than they’ve seemed. Obviously things age, but I can’t help thinking that a little bit of hardware, maintenance, occasionally, might make things nicer. I think the cleaning staff is really top-notch, they work very hard, and they are always friendly, but you can’t clean the broken handle of a shower, or rust, or dingy paint. They can only do so much. The management needs to give the place a touch up.

I’ve stayed at the pod 51 many times, and I love the location, and the fact that it’s quiet.

Location was Perfect! Beautiful park and waterfall across the road where you can have take away food. Lots of eateries close to POD. Price was very good for Manhattan.

The pod is really small. I couldn't find a microwave to heat my dinner. The staff is polite but the did not explain to me the common areas of the hotel. During my stay the lightbulb of the roof was flickering which was kind of of annoying

Location is great, it's in the main area of Manhattan. You can walk almost everywhere although you are like 20 blocks from central park (25 minutes walking). There are good restaurant around, also the area is pretty safe at night. Wi-Fi is good.

It’s in the name with Pod, it’s small and there isn’t much room to move around. The price was more expensive and I thought we were getting something a little bigger than what we did.

Terrible views from window but we were only in the room to sleep so we don’t mind. The shower is bad for keeping water in even though shower curtains are drawn but room and bathroom cleaned and dried daily.

Excellent location. Walkable to many tourist attractions in midtown and 10mins walk to grand central station. Close to many subway stations and Citi bike docking stations. Very comfortable room, AC and heating function available. Ensuite bathroom with lots of towels and basic toiletries available. Quiet at night time. Room cleaned every day and towels changed daily.

Air conditioner didn’t work on quiet mode, only on full fan. Room definitely smelled of smoke from previous guest. Could be better value given how small & basic it is, but that said it is New York! Overall the stay was good enough for what it was and I’d happily stay again.

No frills stay, clean and maid service daily. Shared bathrooms were clean and never too busy, although some do get very hot.

Room was by an air vent outside so had to bring earplugs to mute the noise. Also, one of the showers on the floor did not work and the other one lacked pressure.
