We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United StatesOverall, the staff were great, however, the adult pool is located right in the middle of the resort in front of the Pico Lounge and it’s common for kids or young adults to jump in. My teenage son and nephew were in the pool as were other young kids and my kids were the only ones approached by one of the staff members about their age. She made a comment about getting security. This was uncalled for as the kids were not being disruptive and there was other you g adults (not 21) in the pool. My kids felt they were targeted because of their race as the Caucasian kids were not approached. Please note this was limited to one waitress in the Pico lounge that had not business in questioning them and not reflective of the other staff that was great. The waitress was Caucasian and worked on Monday, July 29th. Also, they offer a breakfast and appetizer drink package. The breakfast is very basic and the same every morning. They do not switch it up and the scrambled eggs are runny. Also the appetizers are only available between 4:30-6:30pm which is very inconvenient and not ideal if you are out on excursions and running late. They will not comp you if you miss it, so it’s not worth it if you ask me.
The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, pools were not overcrowded.

CanadaResort was under construction when we attended (but we knew that before booking). The poolside restaurant was therefore not open. Resort is off to a good start getting things going again, some growing pains with menu's etc. Need more staff for poolside service of food and drinks - too slow. Laundry service was limited to machines that were working on only a few floors (self serve). The on-site paddleboard/snorkel/beach kit vendor needs a bit of work to get them up to standards for a resort at this price point.
The family pool is really nice if you have children in your group, it is shallow throughout - and the area that has sand is great for small kids. Front desk staff and tour booking staff were attentive and friendly. Night time snorkel with the Manta Rays is an incredible experience - do NOT skip it.

United StatesBuffet breakfast was a disappointment, hot items often cold, not much variety, fresh fruit limited and sometimes not very ripe. Once the Manta Rey viewing area renovation is completed and view bar back in operation, the resort will be overall great!
The recently renovated room was spacious and very clean! The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent!

United StatesThe spa & their main restaurant(s) were closed due to “renovations”. No mention was made of this when I booked & pd $660/night. The spa & the fact they supposedly had more than one restaurant were the deciding reasons for choosing this hotel. My in room phone did not work, so I could not call front desk, bell hop, or housekeeping. I understand older hotels do need to occasionally close things in order to renovate & update their facility. However, you then need to update your online site & let potential customers know what services you actually can provide. Also, I asked at valet if there was anything in walking distance of the hotel. The bellman was rude & quickly said the name of some shopping center & then literally walked away, completely dismissing me. Fortunately not all the staff were that rude. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this place nor will I ever return.
The best thing about this hotel is that you can see the manta rays feeding at night.

The walk around the grounds was very pleasant, especially at sunset.

United KingdomThe building works being carried out all over the property that have been carried out for over a year it seems and there was no mention of this when the hotel was booked and is STILL not mentioned on your website. Also there no only one laundry room with only one washing machine which was constantly being using by the building contractors that are also staying on site living in the rooms so we had to wash our clothing off site.
Room was o.k size however the beds were on the smaller size of there measurements
