We asked to be upgraded to a suite with a view, when we went back to check in at 4pm, they said it was still not available. When getting off the phone with the cleaners they gave us the same room we originally reserved. Our room was still dirty. There was a used tissue on the box spring near the head board, there as trash between the bed and nightstand. There was a lot of stains in the sheets. There was also a used bottle on the top balcony that someone used for cigarettes.

I loved the loft area and balcony’s. The pools and hot tub looked nice, we did not get a chance to use them though.

Smelled musty and could have been cleaned a little better. The bathroom had hair in it when we got there. Housekeeping came in first morning and didn't make the beds.

a lot of repairs have seem to fall waist side. the facility needs to have maintenance completed on it. ceiling paint in room was falling. outlets didn’t not work, and seemed to have issues with electrical.

the location was amazing, and it was right on the beach!!! staff was willing to go out of there way to help.

The value for the property. Did not have help with luggage without an elevator. Screen door was bent so it did not close properly. The room for complimentary beverages was musty and unwelcoming.

The bathroom needs a bit of help - the ventilation is sub-par; one shower caused the toilet paper rolls and Kleenex to be soaked because of the humidity. The skylight control didn’t work. That wasn’t a big deal, but the bathroom ventilation was inconvenient.

Location was great, room was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Better communication with the hotel. Fairer treatment. Sticking to hotel policies for all (it was stated there would be fines for smoking outside designated areas). The room upcharge was OK, if it was a more expensive room, we would have paid it anyway, but paying more than a person just walking in after they'd had our deposit for 2 months, was wrong. Bathrooms are so small, honestly, that my husband had to stand in the bathroom to close the door because the toilet was inches away from the door's edge. I couldn't climb up in the tub so I had to leave the door open to use the toilet.

We had a nice stay there years ago and followed up on our reservations by contacting the hotel to tell them what type of room we wanted, preferably the one we had before, This was 2 months before our stay. When we got there, they said I should go into a different type room in the back of the property, but they had the type we wanted for $40 more per night. We took it, but looked up the rate they gave us which was more than there very own printed rate online! Meanwhile, folks moved out of the room we wanted and they never even offered it to us. It wasn't the money, it was the fact that all this could have been resolved months earlier and they didn't care enough to try. This really messed up our 50th wedding anniversary, or could have had we dwelled on it! The bit about putting us in one of the rooms in the back, which I had written that I absolutely did not want, near the pool and kids without the view we went there to enjoy was really prejudicial. At one point, booking.com asked if we wanted to look into an upgrade. I pushed yes and found the "upgrade" was for a two queen room. I didn't want that, but somehow it was put through anyway and more deposit was charged to our credit card. I am confined to a wheelchair and they knew this from our previous written communications. They have a hot tub which they advertised that everyone could use it. They have a nice lift right next to it....WITH NO BATTERIES. well, scratch that too. The maids and maid service, were terrific during our entire stay. Also, even through the initial unpleasantness and upcharge, the room we had actually had a better view than the one we'd suggested. However, this is a non-smoking facility with written reminders put on each individual patio. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and my respiratory system shuts down.Folks on BOTH SIDES of our room smoked often on their patios so we could not open our patio doors or enjoy the view except from our room...

Literally the only thing we didn't like, but we REALLY didn't like it, was the carpeted pool area. Like, carpet!? Really? I almost never wanted to get out of the pool because the thought of stepping on wet carpeting was that aversive.

The location was spectacular, the room was cute and clean. The staff were really friendly. I like that they have an indoor pool.

List washing machines as a perk but they only worked the last day and apparently only works with credit cards and does not work with debit cards so I wasted money on buying laundry detergent. Smelled musty and the hall ways smelled like chlorine, was told I would have an ocean view and paid extra, did not get that room. Shower was dirty. A lot of things need to be fixed around the property.

A little noisy from the room above us. Sounded like they were moving the furniture. Would have liked to open the curtains for sunlight, But the view was cars facing our door ,& outdoor seating area. The bathroom could be a little larger. Its very tight to open the door.

The location was beautiful !! The pools looked wonderful too, although we didnt have time to swim.. And it was So nice to have the beach just steps away !! The staff was very friendly & helpful !!!

Absolutely nothing!

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed at! Clean, quiet, beautiful room, close to restaurants and stores, beautiful beach, just absolutely wonderful! Would go again a 100 times!
