Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

You can't beat this place for value, location, and the breakfast. Undeniably in need of renovation, during the two times I have stayed here it has been clean and safe. It is not within walking distance to the Metro but you can take a short bus, Uber, or Lyft to the Pentagon City Metro station. Free parking and a surprisingly substantial breakfast make this place my go to hotel when visiting DC.

BelgiumThe staff at breakfast are surly and miserable: they clearly missed the customer service training given to the reception staff! In fact, more than once they were downright rude to customers. They are, admittedly, understaffed at busy periods but everything is too much trouble for them and they will close the breakfast buffet with queues of guests still waiting - and waiting because not enough food was made and they had been kept waiting for 40+ mins (so not the guest's fault).
The 'family suite' is really two connecting bedrooms with the door removed but they are spacious and do the job well. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is a reasonable size. The beds were comfy. Good public transport links to get to DC Central.

United StatesThe air conditioner in the room was a little rickety and worked intermittently. It was enough to keep us cool. You have to climb stairs to the second floor so if you are elderly or have heavy luggage, you will struggle.
I was surprised by the good quality breakfast. They have a pool if you want to swim. Only a few miles to Arlington cemetery and a few minutes to the airport.

AustraliaAt breakfast unless you got in early some patrons took several cereal containers. The staff didn’t seem to restock them. The coffee machine only worked briefly on one of the 3 days I was there and they didn’t have other hot water for tea. I had a ground floor room and it was more like a motel with cars parked outside. So I could not really open my curtains because of people going past and I couldn’t open windows either.
Great location. Bus stops right outside which connect to Pentagon City shopping centre and the Metro to downtown DC and Ronald Reagan Airport. Uber to/from the airport is reasonably priced too. Breakfast offered eggs and a number of other choices each day. I enjoyed the pancakes.

United StatesCoffee could be a very important part of anyone's day. Having a digital coffee machine on a busy morning is such a disaster! Coffee served in a Thermos/pot or a simple coffee maker wouldve been waaaaayyyy efficient/convenient to serve your guests. Super long line for a coffee and the machine kept going out of service was such an annoyance.
Decent enough to spend a night when visiting Arlington.
