Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Australiacarpet in bedroom was really basic and cheap. The breakfast was simple - same thing every day (scrambled eggs, toast, fried potatoes, pancakes etc) fine for a quick fuel up. Drinks at the bar seemed very weak
Close to the beach. Cute restaurants around. Great White across the road has fantastic Australian style coffee and breakfast. Rooms were large and clean. front desk staff were good. Security guard was around in the lobby. area is eclectic but still felt safe. You can walk to venice canals & Abbott Kinney

HungaryWe stayed in expensive beacfront suit, because we wanted to enjoy the ocean view. Well, the beachfront suit looks at a parking lot and the ugly, dirty backyards of the beach front line shops. Strange people doing strange thing in parking lot. Really disappointing to see this instead of the ocean. Especially from 1st floor! (Which is for some reason numbered as 3xx) And there are no shades or black-out curtains on the window only ses-through sheer curtain! So after dark for sure everyone can see in your room and the lamp post in the parking lot is reflecting straight to your bed. (Maybe in higher floor it is better, and partial side views to the oceans have actually a nicer view) Breakfrast is nice but the place is super tiny so hard to find a table to sit.
Spacious, very comfortable well equiped, nice, clean rooms; super helpfull staff, special thanks to Alejandra at the reception!). Bed is large, pillows are great. Beach towels provided

Turkey-Everyday was the same for the breakfast menu. You could at least change the hot selections. -Valet is expensive but it is more or less the same at every hotel in LA (everywhere is around 55 USD)
-Perfect location if you wanna experience the beachfront -Rooms were spacious and clean -The cleaning ladies were so kind and caring -The hotel provides free beach items (ball, umbrella, towels, etc.) and BIKES!!!

United StatesMinor gripe. We had a "partial view" beach room. Which. Yeah, technically. Last time I stayed in such a room at the Erwin, the view was visible from the bed - GORGEOUS. This time, the beach was visible if you walked to one far corner of the room. So, that was disappointing.
It's a beautiful hotel with a warm, low-key vibe. Staff is friendly and chill. They provided beach towels and suntan lotion for the beach! Clean rooms that are cute and spacious. GREAT location. Cool rooftop views. Good water pressure in the shower. And the continental breakfast was consistently tasty. Will definitely return.

ItalyBreakfast buffet: there's no still water at disposal, fruit is not tasting, sweet options are not so many, bread not good. A tea kettle would be great (there's just coffee machine in the room). Noise coming from other rooms (screaming people, weird noises of doors, noisy air conditioning system (or other equipment) just outside the window of the room. Cleaning done twice in 5 days.
Position, not far from the airport. Unfortunately in the area there is a bit of degradation. Roof toop with wonderful view. Staff just amazing.
