The car rally! But that had nothing to do with the hotel!

Alice checked me in and also helped me relocate to a quieter room. There was an insane car rally happening surrounding the hotel. She was very positive and very kind. All staff was very pleasant. I appreciate how clean the hotel was.

Hard to find cleaning staff that spoke English. Had to find them to change sheets on the bed, empty trash, or get fresh towels.

The TV said you could connect your phone and stream to the tv through the wifi, but some of the TV’s aren’t updated to stream from your phone. Unfortunately our room was one of those tv’s.. Didn’t find that out until AFTER I paid $30 on prime video, to buy the new twister movie. ☹️ so the kids were bummed we couldn’t stream what we wanted.. it’s alright though, they had Cable TV, so they survived 😂

LOVED the staff. Can’t say enough positive things about the staff. The little gym was nice, our beds were comfortable, nice showers that were equipped with quality body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.. the room was a little snug but big enough for two adults and 1 kid. They had a nice selection for breakfast.

The breakfast is not that good. Also, the bathroom counters and the floors were a bit dirty.

The staff were super friendly. The location is convenient and I had no issues with my room.

Bedsprings noisy. Breakfast food choices could have been better and breakfast hours not posted very well. We almost missed breakfast because I thought it was to10, not 9:30. Bathroom light was set to timer. In middle of the night we couldn't just turn it off. Gad to close bathroom door.

Awesome staff. Decor was bright and modern. Clean rooms, like flooring.

The coffee wasn't great and 1 dispenser was down completely. The coffee creamer wasn't great.

The bed and pillows were comfey enough. The shade kept the room nice and dark.

Didn't like that some guests were playing on the elevator and running around. Breakfast juice machine was broken.

I liked how nice and pleasant the staff were, and helpful. Very great with checking in and out. Nice spot and close to the place I was visiting. Overall a great place to stay!

TV casting from phone did not work. Basically ignored my request for a top floor room - I called 4 hrs before check in to confirm that and was told that they read requests/fulfill them and I was taken car of - no worry- False. At check in was told rooms assigned first come first served by arrival time. Top floor rooms are assigned first.

Good location. Clean property. Comfortable beds and good pillows that did not compress to 1/2 inch thick and gave head support. A bit of a spartan room on first look. Breakfast OK. Room met all needs. Staff pleasant.

I’m not sure if it was a hotel issue or a booking.com issue.. we booked a certain type of room online but when we arrived exactly during our arrival window I gave them we were told they didn’t have any King rooms available. Also, they need either carpet or rugs next to the beds because of the linoleum which I didn’t mind other than the bits that made it into my bed from my feet on the floor.

It was close to a lot of things but far enough away to seem like a “quieter location”

We could appreciate the vibe of the hotel and the tile floors but the corners and ledges need to be cleaned better. The headboard in our room was covered in dust that had been there for some time. The floors need to be wet mopped clean because there was dried liquid spots on the bathroom floor and sand and hair that had not been cleaned up. There were cobwebs behind the bathroom door that hadn’t been cleaned up. I also saw coffee spilled on the exit door that never got cleaned up.

The breakfast offerings were okay. The coffee machines were impressive but the coffee is only as good as the beans that get ground. So if cheaper beans are used the coffee isn’t as good. The rest of the breakfast offerings were adequate.

I booked a king room but none were available so we had to take a double queen I booked this room Months prior so I was very disappointed

We had no complaints at all.

The room was spotless, had a great number of easily accessible hooks for hanging things up, and the beds were very comfortable. I really appreciated the green approach to providing soap and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, which was also lovely and easy to navigate. The hotel is close to the highway, and our room faced it, We were very surprised (and grateful) by how quiet it was! The gym facility was great, and the breakfast was one of the best of that type that we've found - lots of healthy choices and it was all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will look for AVID hotels when I travel. We would have been perfectly happy to stay there for multiple nights. It was a great value for the money.
