The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are amazing. Always trying to help. Very quit and the pool is very nice and clean. If you are looking for a quit place with wonderful people this your place.

Our stay at paje blue was lovely, it’s a very quiet place, the staff is very good and welcoming. We didn’t see the time go through. Location is also great few minutes away from the beach plus you can give a tour to the local shop close by.

An amazing boutique hotel, 2 mins walk to the beach and a lovely pool to relax around with comfy sunbeds. Felt like a 5* resort without the price tag! Breakfast was lovely and rooms really clean and spacious. All staff members were brilliant, so friendly and made our time here so enjoyable - felt very safe and relaxed. We also booked a Tuk Tuk each night through the hotel to and from town for meals which was super easy to organise and cost around $4. Also had a massage onsite which was such a treat!

My husband and I loved everything about the hotel. It's perfectly designed, we had our space as well as we were able to socialise with others. The hotel owner and staff are absolutely amazing. They treat every client with respect and they go out of their way to help. They treated us like family where we were so comfortable throughout our trip. Food is gorgeous and very tasty. Different varieties. This was the best holiday for us. Paje blu boutique hotel is the place to go.

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warmth and helpfulness. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat, just a 10-minute stroll along the beach to the lively Paje center, yet far enough to avoid the busy crowds and sellers. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool, open 24 hours, is a real highlight, with sunbeds right in front of your hut—pure relaxation! 'Hakuna Matata' in every sense of the word—just pole pole and enjoy!

It was the best choice to stay in Paje Blu for our vacation on Zanzibar. Everything was just perfect! Beautiful place, tasty food and the most important nice people. Everything was perfectly clean all the time. Menu, even for breakfast, was varied, everything was so tasty! And everyone there took such a good care of us. I also liked location, just few minutes walking to the beach :)

the place is perfect. the best pool i saw on Zansibar. You stay in the second row, just a minute from the beach. While chilling at the pool its absolutly quiet and private no wind. You can enjoy the busy beach during the day and then step back to athis chilled and quiet place in the evening, away from wind and high tide at the beach. The place is perfectly maintained and the bungalows next to the pool provide all you need. Not to many guests but enough to meet people and make friends. We saw five star places on the beach which where far behind the standarts of this place but 3 times more expencive when it comes to accomodation and the menu as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful, specially Eva and Deli tried everything to make you feel well. Cleaning girls never disturbed and they find always the right time to set up the rooms and spray them in the evening. 2 modern fans in each bungalow plus a aircon gives you all opportunuties to set up the temperature at night for a fantastic sleep. The beds are perfect. You can see and feel that the owners spent really money on what ever they do to maintain the place. No cheap fixing. The manager is always round and takes care. Wifi is working perfect and no electricity cuts. As a lodge owner i can say that that this place is setup and run extremly well and meets standards far over the average from other places in Zansibar and results in a high value for the clients.

We enjoyed everything. Rooms were really big and spacious, the bed was really comfortable, big shower and sun beds right infront of the terrace. Various choices for breakfast that was tasty every day and super sweet staff that always went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and wishes. Nice swimming pool and very well maintained property in general. The massage lady was super sweet and I tried relaxing massage 2 times and it was amazing. We will be definitely coming back.

Too far from town with no transportation provided or arrangements. Nearby construction site was at times too noisy for relaxation by the pool. Internet in our room was super slow.

Not a big deal, this is more of a personal preference and something that the hotel may have considered already but did not get to implement just yet. I would highly recommend adding some hammocks for utmost relaxation under the sun.

My wife and I stayed at Paje Blu for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. After the whirlwind of our wedding, this was the perfect place for total relaxation. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the staff's attention to detail was incredible—everyone was so friendly, kind and attentive. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and we especially loved the dinners. Highly recommend trying their meals! I can’t recommend Paje Blu enough for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape !

It was centrally located yet tucked away in a peaceful area, allowing for easy access to local attractions while offering a serene environment to relax. Breakfast menu is a la carte and limited especially if you're staying for a few nights. It would be nice to see more local dishes on the menu. Some options should be buffet for example fruit and pastries.

The hotel is exceptionally clean with really nice spacious bedrooms. Very nice decor throughout. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Nice pool. Excellent massage lady with reasonable prices. Peaceful location just outside the town. Paje beach is a 2 min walk from the hotel.

J like the other hotel I stayed in while in Paje, there isn’t a beachfront/sea view. Its only a 3 minute walk to access the beach but it was as still a slight downside not to have a sea view

There is no such thing, we loved everything.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and loved everything about it. The rooms were clean, cleaned every day, the staff were probably the nicest, most helpful staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. The hotel does not have its own oceanfront beach, but it is a few minutes walk to the beach, which you can only walk down to at low tide. I can only recommend the accommodation to everyone!

Nothing to not like. It was ideal and great value for money.

Owners and staff were fantastic. Property was nice and peaceful. Nice pool and rooms close to the beach. Our son became ill with appendicitis and the owner helped get him to the medical centre and helped with taxis etc to stone town for his operation. Couldn’t fault them. Food was excellent every day. Menu changed daily so always something to eat. Local curry was excellent.
