On the night we arrived , there was no dinner prepared for us, our flight was delayed and i did alert the hotel we will be arriving late but they said kitchen was close and I paid for the dinner. During the stay we requested to borrow and iron, this request took several phone calls to reception and was only brought o the room 2 days later. The mini bar was not being replaced with water and cool drinks daily and we paid for full board during out booking. upon asking the reception. they acknowledged the problem but did not even replace the water or drinks. the room was not cleaned properly, could still feel sand and dirt on the floor after they cleaned.

The pillows smelt bad. Even though we got the pillow covers changed. Which means the actual smell was from the pillows. When I asked to get that fixed, they changed the pillow, but smell was still there.

Food could do with an improvement on quality a diversity but the staff serving was lovely.

The infinity pool was great and the staff were nice albeit bit surprised because I arrived via the beach. Room was big, clean everything was working and when I enquired about an adaptor someone immediately showed up.

For people who have only B&B there is no free water in the room, only the ones with half or full board. This is the first time i have ever come across this and i travel extensively. The internet was terrible it did not work most of the time. We asked for a chage of meal ( instead of breakfast to have dinner the previous day) cause we were flying out early. but a lady from Brazil with quiet an attitude said she is a cosultant and its impossible to chage it. However after talking to Christain the FB manager the problem was solved.I asked for someone to come at 5am to assist us with the luggage but was told that the receptionist had forgotten to send them etc. So some of the staff and management could work on their customer service more. The location is great. Its right on the beach and other hotel and restaurants are close and accessible. There is a popular night club Coccobelo just 300-400 metters away for those who like night life. The buffet is quiet good for Africa. There are two pools and its set in a beautiful scenery. Staff is great especially Chritian FB manager, who was great with fascilitating and understanding tge guests needs. Great customer service on his side as well as Steve (Stefan) from the restaurant.

The hotel is at the heart of Nungwi beach right on the beach. You can enjoy the ocean view while relaxing on the infinity pool. Nice private beach. The cafeteria is set up right on the beach so you enjoy the breeze while eating.

There are no complaints about the property, however as suggestion it can be improve so much .. es: beach towels are really old , bedsheets can be change at least once during a week stay, atrc…

The property is located in front of a beautiful white beach. The hotel is simple , a good value for the price ( it’s definitely not a 4 stars category with super basic clean rooms). U can go barefoot at the main restaurant ( is on the beach area) and food is fresh and with variety Eve day.

Everything was really nicely set up,cosy atmosphere with AC on all the time.

- the prices of the drinks were quite high (4 USD for 1 small beer) but closeby there was a small shop with beer and other liquids - the doors of our room (and I guess all the rooms) are built with a lot of options for ants and other insects to enter the room ... therefore we covered them with tape and it helped

+ the build of the whole resort looked very traditional african and therefore was so beautiful + we only had breakfast but that was directly in the sand and it was fabulous + the staff was very friendly and smiling all the time ... they helped with everything + the infinity pool and the view of the sea when arriving was really incredibly cool + the 2 other pools were also very nice and clean + we needed a doctor because of a propable malaria infection who was very helpful + the option to stay longer after checkout and having a shower next to the reception (including towel) added another USP

Very nice hotel located in an excellent position, clean and tidy with excellent organization of the staff. The beach in front of the hotel is perfect with much less pronounced tides and ebbs.

Everything is very slow, but this is aligned with Zanzibar mantra "pole-pole". Usually people come here to relax, so it's ok, but there are situations, for example of you have excursions, when you can't wait 1/2 h (after reminders) just for a plate of fruits and some water. Also, we chosed the mini suite, paying extra money, but unless you're beach front, it doesn't make a huge difference with the normal room. Also, the room was completely dark :/

My Blue is the perfect place for relax. The infinity pool over the sea is paradisiac, the restaurant has a wonderful view on the beach (actually it is on the beach), the staff is so kind, the food is good. I read many reviews saying that the breakfast doesn't offer varierty, but this isn't true, there are so many different foods.

Everyday race for the beach chairs... some people were reserving beds by putting towels at 6 AM!!! And keeping towels all day on the chairs and not even using it! Or some people were tipping pool boys to reserve beach chairs - the best chairs front row facing the ocean were always reserved for the same people - nor fair! For that reason I would think twice before booking again. When booking via booking.com we didn't know most guests booked cheaper all inclusive packages there, we had breakfast only and at times we felt treated little like a second class. Everyone has to wear plastic bracelet, different colour depending on meal plan....

Loved our Little cottage, so cute, spacious and comfy. Beachfront location, can't get any closer to the ocean! Friendly staff and well maintained gardens. Nice big pool and infinity pool facing the ocean.

The road leading to entrance had bumps an uncomfortable to drive in. The fact that I lost my sandals in the room.

I loved the rooms clean an spacious,staff very helpful an the pools were clean an beautiful view of the beach.... I loved my Blue, we arrived at midnight an were assisted to the room easily. Restaurant had variety of food.
