The double bed was just two single beds pushed together. So every night when we tried to sleep the mattresses would move and there would be a gap between them and then we (mostly my husband 😂) would be between the two mattresses

I did not like the soft bed and it makes a lots of squeeze nose every time you move. It is very old . Having 1 bottle of 500ml bottle of water in the room is a jock. I was staying in another hotel and they where leaving 2 bottles of 1L each.

The breakfast is bad, the sausages are chewy and not soft and the potatoes are hard and make your mouth dry this needs to be improved to make the breakfast worth it. The appalling wifi in the rooms makes making calls difficult and having to use mobile data, making it not worth the money I paid plus the city tax as these things are necessary for the money paid and customer satisfaction.

The staff are friendly and the rooms are good the A/C works perfectly and the juice in breakfast was very good and the panckakes.

Creaking bed. unfortunately the Taxi Driver did Not take From Airport as agreed (pickup Service not as agreed) but no big Deal since many Taxis available within Airport area.

Everything was just wonderful and so close to all attractions. Breakfast at USD10 was great value for money with a lot of variety. Would have also loved some fruit muesli and yoghurt though.

The lifts are kinda of small. But that a minor issue.

The rooms are clean and very spacious. The property has good views of the Zanzibar port and harbour. It also within walking distance to alot of places in Stone Town.

The other people on our floor were extremely noisy. Both nights we stayed, doors were slamming shut, and long and loud discussions were had in the hallway outside our door between 10pm-2am. The people above us kept moving furniture around in the middle of the night. It was just a very noisy experience and struggled to sleep. The beds were also a bit squeaky every time you have to turn around. Our AC remote control did not work. It was stuck on one freezing setting, and we had to turn it off on the wall during the evenings.

We arrived early and the staff were kind enough to let us check-in 2 hours before check-in time. They were friendly and helped us with our bags. The room was clean and comfortable, but the shower needs a curtain or doors to avoid splashing the whole bathroom. The pool area was lovely, just a lack of shade on a very hot day. The rooftop restaurant had amazing food for dinner. The location is perfect. We mostly walked to any place we wanted to see in Stone Town. It's also very close to the ferry and other boats going to Prison Island.

I wasn't keen on the hot tub bath in the room as its quite dated. Also the pool could have definitely done with a clean as lots of leaves and bugs in there. I am not moaning cause overall this place was lovely.

I liked its location as I can easily walk in to town town centre. The manager was so so lovely, he upgraded my room to the deluxe suite and it felt really nice to be shown such kindness especially as I had just left a hotel that let a random man nearly enter my room and when I explained this to the manager he took extra care of me and then upgraded me. I felt much safer. Also was nice that it had a pool

Located in the heart of Stone Town which makes it easy to get around the city centre of Zanzibar. Very clean and offered amazing views from the rooftop restaurant. Has a nice vintage vibe to it as well!
