There was no water provided in the rooms and to be bough extra for consumption as the tapwater is not safe. The location looks a little rough and crowded with lots of taxis but non-the- less - close to the beach.

Breakfast is Amazing. Really delicious. The staff is lovely and ready to help with anything you may need. It's in wlaking distance of the beach and some great restaurants.

I did not like the hard board which is under the bed, when you turn, it makes a lot of noise, that is not good

Location tucked away at the top part of the bay. Lovely rooftop view and breakfast options were ok. Nice and quiet too

Bed was noisy, bathroom had a leak and hair dryer was not working. Bulb went off in the bathroom and we were told it will be fixed but not urgently.

There’s only a single elevator it’s rather small.

5 minutes walk from the Ferry and the staff is very helpful and polite.

At the end they charged a big fine of $20 just for a spot of blood on the bedsheets. I find this ridiculous. I could have gone to the market and bought a similar bedsheet for less than half the price if they had prewarned me. Also they wanted to fine me for the TV remote which I had never used as it had opened up slightly.

The breakfast was really good. Though they take a long time to bring the orders of eggs and waffles to the table. The rooms are big and comfortable. The hotel is right in the centre of Stonetown so everything is in easy reach.

The location and the access to the place was terrible.,the bed was noisy.I arrived at night time and no drinking water in the room in a place where tap water is unsafe even for residents.

The view at the rooftop was great. The staff were great. The room was nice. The food almost perfect. I even miss the music played at the reception. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there.

The Road outside is difficult and entering it by car , need to pay parking (even just park to moe luggage for 2 min)

Nothing. The only thing some people may have a problem with is the loud sounds made by the ferry - they will wake you up if you are not used to them. But the hotel really is great.

Very, very clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast (buffet). Good location - right by the ferry terminal and within a 5-minute walk from the main gate into Stonetown. A cozy and fairly large swimming pool, located in a lovely garden. A 3-minute walk to the nearest beach (albeit small) where you can swim or catch a small, wooden boat to Prison Island or Nakupenda, etc. Overall, a very good experience.

The rooms were not exceptionally clean, seemed very old and require maintenance. The shower had to be fixed as it was broken. Overall, the room was average.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our honeymoon. The location is very convenient, as it’s centrally located and easily accessible. The food was great. The staff manager, Violet really made our stay comfortable. To sum it up, the hotel is great for a short stay especially if you’re having a pit stop in Stone Town.

The bed I slape on it makes sounds while moving from side to side,, but were able to sleep deeply.

I like tge african style of the furniture and the look of it ,, neat to the town, near to forodhani and nice place.
