Even though, we booked different rooms due to the unavailability of one specific room for the duration of our stay. We managed to stay in different rooms and experience the luxury Be Zanzibar has to offer. Our trip to Zanzibar was exceptional, and Be Zanzibar played a huge role. From the view, to the breakfast and activities they have to offer, to the small chitchat with the lovely owners and staff. I have recommended this specific hotel to my peers around me and so do I recommend any of you as well. Asante sana Be Zanzibar. I'll be back soon! <3

This hotel is so clean and exquisite! It lives up to the aesthetics you see on social media and more. The food is so delicious and fresh. The staff is exceptional and always willing to help. Asente sana!

The restaurant could be improved. It is a bit overpriced in comparison to the taste of the food. The breakfast buffet could use a few more options.

I think what sets this place from everywhere else is that the staff would go the extra mile just to make your stay more comfortable and special! We reached super early (almost six hours before check in time), had an overnight flight and were exhausted; the hotel staff allowed us to access the breakfast buffet, and then gave us a room so we can rest until the room we originally booked was ready for check in. We really appreciated that. Also the hotel itself is beautiful and charming, it overlooks a beautiful crystal blue beach. It is a great destination if you would like to relax and recharge.

The property was absolutely stunning! The rooms were unbelievably clean, and the hotel itself had a smaller family feeling while also luxurious. The staff at the this hotel, every person I met, are who made the experience for me, they were all so kind and welcoming! Also the restaurant had incredible food made fresh everyday!

First of all, the property is pretty unique. Once you walk into the reception you get welcomed warmly with a happy face and a welcome drink. Going into our room, it was neat and nicely decorated, a very comfortable bed, and the cleaning is superb. Talking about the workers, they are very nice and always happy to help. The swimming pool area is so beautiful with a breathtaking view. restaurant wise, the food is super delicious and clean, hands down some of the best food I’ve tasted. The highlight of this hotel is that the owners really put their heart into it, and it makes you feel like you are welcomed into their home. There is a beach below the hotel, you can easily access it because there are stairs leading to it, you can walk along the beach or swim in the beautiful clear water. Overall, we had an unforgettable vacation and that’s because the hotel gave us a very pleasant stay.

We found out on the last day via the IG page that complementary boat rides are offered to guests. We would have loved to take advantage of this had we been briefed on arrival, but it's a great excuse to come back! ;)

My husband and I had an amazing time during our 4 night stay at Be Zanzibar after a 6 day Safari. We ate at the on-site restaurant Casa Coco for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was fresh and delicious with plenty of meal options — we never felt the need to go anywhere else and loved the pescatarian menu! The view, beach and water is simply stunning. The whole property is beautifully designed with plenty of options to lounge in from day beds, hammocks, bean bags, and even a tree house. Pottery is also offered complementary for guests! The owner is extremely friendly, checking in on us often and going above and beyond for my husband’s allergy to nuts. I highly recommend this hotel for couples and families looking to relax in a high-end yet laid-back environment with a "local, authentic" feel. Make sure to catch the sunrise -- breathtaking. We hope to be back soon ☺️

The best place to stay in Zanzibar a true paradise! We stayed here for 4 nights and honestly couldn’t have asked for more! First of all, the owner Tarek and his wife were so hospitable, we’ve never experienced that everywhere we’ve ever stayed (in the 17 countries we’ve visited)! Amelia the manager there (hope I spelled her name right) was such a pleasure and was one of the nicest people you could meet! Honestly, never experienced hospitality like this anywhere else! Staff members were all warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was just magical! The bed was comfortable and the design in the room and throughout the entire place was just gorgeous! We literally had the best fully body massage of our lives at the spa on our last day there! This is the only place we would stay if we were to come to Zanzibar again (prior to Be Zanzibar we stayed at other places)!

Excellent staff, view, room, food. I stayed in 4 other hotels in Zanzibar and none of them satisfied me as Be Zanzibar. Defiantly will come back. They offer a lot of free activities. Also big thanks to Tarek, Abdul and amazing guy in restaurant which offered and served us meal even though it was late and the restaurant was closed. I saw no comments about that but the beach was surprisingly good. This is an unusual hotel with good vibe and spirit. Felt like home.
