I recently had the pleasure of staying at Be Zanzibar, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel right at home. The hotel's location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and easy access to local attractions. The accommodations were both stylish and comfortable, with a beautiful blend of modern amenities and traditional Zanzibari decor. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a private balcony where I could enjoy the serene surroundings. The on-site dining options were a highlight, with a range of delicious dishes that showcased the local cuisine. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful options to start the day. What truly set Be Zanzibar apart was the level of personalized service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, from arranging excursions to providing local recommendations. Overall, Be Zanzibar exceeded all of my expectations. There is no one bad point about this hotel set in a lovely picturesque setting from the moment you step foot out of your transfer to getting back in it !! The staff couldn’t do anymore for you !! We were at Be Zanzibar at the end of May this year and we can only say that it is a true paradise!! From the beach, the food, to the rooms, but especially the people. Thank you so much to Amelie, Tarek and Ali for their friendliness and hospitality, they gave us a surprise that we will never forget. We are sure that one day we will return to Be Zanzibar, where we were very happy!!

First of all, the property is pretty unique. Once you walk into the reception you get welcomed warmly with a happy face and a welcome drink. Going into our room, it was neat and nicely decorated, a very comfortable bed, and the cleaning is superb. Talking about the workers, they are very nice and always happy to help. The swimming pool area is so beautiful with a breathtaking view. restaurant wise, the food is super delicious and clean, hands down some of the best food I’ve tasted. The highlight of this hotel is that the owners really put their heart into it, and it makes you feel like you are welcomed into their home. There is a beach below the hotel, you can easily access it because there are stairs leading to it, you can walk along the beach or swim in the beautiful clear water. Overall, we had an unforgettable vacation and that’s because the hotel gave us a very pleasant stay.

We found out on the last day via the IG page that complementary boat rides are offered to guests. We would have loved to take advantage of this had we been briefed on arrival, but it's a great excuse to come back! ;)

My husband and I had an amazing time during our 4 night stay at Be Zanzibar after a 6 day Safari. We ate at the on-site restaurant Casa Coco for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was fresh and delicious with plenty of meal options — we never felt the need to go anywhere else and loved the pescatarian menu! The view, beach and water is simply stunning. The whole property is beautifully designed with plenty of options to lounge in from day beds, hammocks, bean bags, and even a tree house. Pottery is also offered complementary for guests! The owner is extremely friendly, checking in on us often and going above and beyond for my husband’s allergy to nuts. I highly recommend this hotel for couples and families looking to relax in a high-end yet laid-back environment with a "local, authentic" feel. Make sure to catch the sunrise -- breathtaking. We hope to be back soon ☺️

The best place to stay in Zanzibar a true paradise! We stayed here for 4 nights and honestly couldn’t have asked for more! First of all, the owner Tarek and his wife were so hospitable, we’ve never experienced that everywhere we’ve ever stayed (in the 17 countries we’ve visited)! Amelia the manager there (hope I spelled her name right) was such a pleasure and was one of the nicest people you could meet! Honestly, never experienced hospitality like this anywhere else! Staff members were all warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was just magical! The bed was comfortable and the design in the room and throughout the entire place was just gorgeous! We literally had the best fully body massage of our lives at the spa on our last day there! This is the only place we would stay if we were to come to Zanzibar again (prior to Be Zanzibar we stayed at other places)!

Excellent staff, view, room, food. I stayed in 4 other hotels in Zanzibar and none of them satisfied me as Be Zanzibar. Defiantly will come back. They offer a lot of free activities. Also big thanks to Tarek, Abdul and amazing guy in restaurant which offered and served us meal even though it was late and the restaurant was closed. I saw no comments about that but the beach was surprisingly good. This is an unusual hotel with good vibe and spirit. Felt like home.

The staff are absolutely the best, they’re so welcoming and just the bestest people you’ll come across, they are so accommodating and helpful, kind and funny. Its like you’ve known eachother for years. The owner is also such a legend you can tell he put his heart into this hotel project with his wife. The vibe here is unmatched, litterally wouldnt need to leave the place its such a chill spot, food is the best you’ll find, this is coming from a foodie with good taste. The restaurant food here is levels!!! The facilities they have here are so cool like the tree house and the lounge area. Romantic dinner looked amazing! My wife got a massage done and told me it was the best thing ever and that she fell asleep, shows how great the massage was, i can not reccommend this place enough, it is honestly the best i’ve been to. The staff here make it worth it even more. Will defo be arranging another trip back here ان شاءالله!

An amazing and beautiful oasis where everything has been created with a genuine eye for detail and passion. My visit to Be Zanzibar was beyond expectations. Delicious and wholesome food, the spa area and treatments were incredible, and the location is perfect with the beautiful morning sun and not too close to where the touristy areas are. You also always feel so welcomed and is every time greeted with a big smile from all the staff members. You can definitely tell this hotel has been built with the heart by the owners, and at all times they making sure you're having a great experience. I can't wait to come back to this extraordinary place, hopefully very soon.
