Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe hotel is dark and that feels a bit creepy; the room is quite small and did not smell clean and it was dusty and cramped; there was a large construction site across the street that was not mentioned at the booking. Breakfast did not offer any European or American options besides some toast with butter or jam.

Singaporecould do with more elevators. gets really crowded during the 11am check out timing. but that’s me being persnickety.
Location is fantastic. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were all friendly and helpful. Love the spacious rooms and hot tub. The complimentary Taiwanese oolong tea leaves and illy coffee pods were a great touch.

Staff support was great. I rent a room but wasn’t very quiet, I requested to change room and staff were very helpful, I didn’t mention it but staff were able to find the room with the exact same layout but quite room for me, very thoughtful customer service! Location is great and ideal to move across Taipei city.

Sweden1. Terrible designed bathroom, the sink is not properly installed so it's impossible to turn off the tap without getting water everywhere, we had to leave a towel under the tap to prevent the water getting all over the floor everyday.... 2. The room feels run-down and needed a maintenance, the screw fell off from the shelf and paints peeled off from the furnitures and walls. 3. Smelly room and it's impossible to higher the temperature of AC, if you turn off the AC the whole room starts to smell weird and if you turn on the AC it's freezing cold.
The staffs were very friendly and helpful.
