Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Statessome of the lower cost rooms in the lower floors do not have a city view. I paid extra for a 9th floor room with a city view. it was a much better room.
The breakfast was probably one of the best things about this hotel. very good breakfast. Plenty of choices, hot meals, vegetables and fruits. Coffee was very good. This is also one of the very few places in the city that has a swimming pool. Staff and cleaning staff were very helpful. Good clean rooms. The place looks like they are improving/renovating to make better. this is one of the nicer looking hotels in the area.

TaiwanThe taps in the bathroom had erratic water flow. Water leaked out from the shower area to the rest of the bathroom when taking a shower. The pillows were not comfortable for us.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was quite good within walking distance from the MRT station. Our room was very quiet.

Singapore1. Hotel guest are required to pay for entry to swimming pool and the indoor playground. Would definitely not have booked the hotel, if it was made known earlier that payment was required. 2. The central air conditioning was bad, room was warm and stuffy. Informed the concierge on it, but they just say play it down, saying that it was normal. Even our family members who came by said the room felt warm. 3. Water dispenser was available at almost every level, but all were not working 4. Could tell from the room that this is an old hotel.
Hotel lobby is spacious and location has several eateries nearby

NetherlandsIt is a communist style hotel which means the staff is busy doing their work or do nothing at all. Definitely they do not care for the guest. The swimming pool is closed on some days, also closed for lunch break of the guard from 11 to 2pm. The breakfast room is a disaster, choice was noodles with lots of meat. The design and materials, TL/lights, did not contribute to a cosy atmosphere
I liked the bed, the size of the room and it was qiuet. I slept like a rose. Also the swimming pool was very good size and water.

TaiwanIt is too expensive and then less facilities to be available. The staff don't usually wear tariffs in a formal style but at ease. What the staff of this hotel is suggested to enhance their service quality by taking some training courses .

TaiwanThe accommodation experience is very bad. Dont book in advance, it is cheaper to book on booking.com on the day. There are always free rooms to book. there is an extra $700 fee if two adults + one kid. The photos on the website are much different from the actual ones, and the swimming pool is not open on Monday. The attitude of the staff is not very polite, and no visitors can stay at lobby after 10 o'clock.

Hong KongToo rigid in handling the check in time after 3:00pm. Unfriendly manner concerning this matter for discretionary permission for granting earlier check in time. 3:00pm for check in normally is not very much excercised so seriously.
Not much things for pointing out.

PolandCheck-in- we arrived at the hotel at 2:15pm, but they said we needed to wait until 3pm for check-in... The reception was virtually empty, no guests were checking in or out, and, given how dirty the room was, I don't think they were still cleaning the room for us... There is no logical explanation for why they couldn't check us in right away. While I did not need to go to the room, getting the formalities out of the way and letting us enjoy the pool would be a nice gesture. At the end of the day, it's a service business. In terms of the hotel, it really needs some work. I booked a room here because of the positive reviews for cleanliness. Not sure where that came from because cleanliness is lacking everywhere. There was a strong mold smell in our room. The carpet was nasty- I don't think it has ever been taken care of. I had to wipe all the surfaces with cleaning wipes myself as there were visible stains from previous use. During our three-night stay, I requested room cleaning every day, but they only changed towels and made the bed. The toilet in the room was dirty the whole time we stayed (and there was no toilet brush in the room). The swimming pool was a highlight of our stay, but be aware that the changing room is super dirty (better change in the toilet next to the pool, it's cleaner) and the pool is closed on Mondays (whyyy?). As a parent traveling with a child, I was very upset about the entire stay since the hotel was not up to hygiene standards. Also, I booked a stay for a friend traveling with us in a different hotel nearby that was almost half the price of this one and was much cleaner, newer and had better service and perks like free coffee, microwave, toaster in the common area, free snacks in a mini bar etc.
I picked this property due to the location (close to where our relatives live) and the pool (I travel with 4 year old). Unfortunately, the swimming pool is the only good thing about this property.
