Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

PolandWiFi was broken and not working during all our stay (5 days). There was a weak signal only at the reception desk but crashing a lot. During the third day of our stay the cleaning lady left our door opened - when we came back, we were surprised seeing this but gladly there were surveillance in front of our room so no items were stolen.
The location is amazing - a few minutes walking from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The reception is available 24/7 and the staff was amazing and always helpful and professional. Our accommodation included the free breakfast - salty and sweet flavours for all tastes. They can organise the airport transfer in advance. The value for money was SPECTACULAR. Recommended for couples and family - we booked 2 rooms and my Mom has a room in front of us. They offered daily cleaning services, the rooms were super clean and refurbished. The bed along with the mattress was super comfy. The district is extremely quiet and it is a safe area.

United Arab EmiratesI didn’t stayed in this property. Due to renovation I got another hotel Grand Washington to stay. But I received the confirmation just 2 days before my travel. I noticed the message accidentally one day before the day of travel. It made me to change my advance booking of transport. Panicking of not sure will I get good hotel. The information should be shared via WhatsApp at the least to ensure customer is informed well in advance. Last minute change will affect the customer whole plan.
