The building is pretty old and it would need some manteinance. The bathroom is very small and the shower isn't closed in a cabin.

The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Unbelievable view on the sea from the window! It's the perfect choice if you travel alone or with your friend(s) and you're staying just a couple-three days. The hotel is in a very nice street in Sultanahmet, one of the most beating hearts of the city. Special mention for the guys at Happy Suite, from the reception desk to the upper floors. They're such kind and thoughtful people, they deserve the trip theirselves.

Mr Ahmet, just like the other reviews said about him, is very gentle and hospitable. He always offer his special turkish tea and shisaa at the terrace. But the very special moment with Mr Ahmet is, he protected me and my wife from getting scam by a group of Iranian peoples that pretends to be tourist trying to look for Chinese restaurant.

The renovation was too old

It was the best owner that we seen. I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Istanbul, and I only have positive impressions. The owner of the hotel is a true treasure of kindness and care. His attention to guests really overshadows any shortcomings, and we felt right at home. Every morning, he brought us breakfast at a convenient time, which was very nice. Cleaning was done daily, and towels were changed without reminders.. The location of the hotel is simply amazing — right in the heart of the old city, making it easy to explore all the attractions. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy warm hospitality and a convenient location. Thank you to the owner for unforgettable moments!

Toilet layout could be better, but other than that ahmet is the best host i've ever met.

Ahmet is a super lovely, kind and friendly host, exactly just like what the other reviews here say. He is very accommodating to my requests and extremely hospitable. I've never had a host look out for me this much, I really appreciate it. The breakfast is also very nice, and ahmet greets you with a warm smile every morning :) The restaurant that he recommended nearby was also very affordable and delicious. Thank you ahmet for making my stay here so pleasant and enjoyable! Truly recommend this hotel.

The location of the stay is THE BEST. Near to all major sites and easy to get around the city and also from the airport. Beware of taxi drivers that like to scam tourists, however, Mr. Ahmet was incredibly accommodating and helped us out with everything even the smallest details.

Since the hotel is located in the old town, it is an old building so it is a bit... It was old and narrow, but it was good as is.

We don't usually eat breakfast, but the fruit, cheese, omelet, bread, coffee, and chai served for breakfast here were very delicious. We also provided unlimited shisha, chai, and coffee if you wanted. :) And small talk with guests on the rooftop is also fun.

The hotel's facilities are not what you would find at a 5-star hotel; however, it is very easy to overlook its minor shortcomings once you see the wonderful view you have from your room's bed, or once you realize the fantastic location it has, or once you meet Ahmet, who truly is as wonderful a person as everybody describes him in the reviews.

Our room was a bit congested and was on the 3rd floor, which was not difficult for us though.

Excellent customer service. Nice location, very close to all the tourist attractions that we were looking for. Ahmed, the owner of the property, was exceptionally good. We found him very helpful, polite, and keen to satisfy our needs. One example; our breakfast was not included, even though he provided with breakfast all 3 days for free. Another example; he guided us to the Marmara Bosphorus tour and he himself joined the tour just to accompany us. We were more than satisfied with his customer service.

Mr Ahmet is a great host. My flight was delayed but he waited for me outside of the hotel till 3a.m to personally greet me and to help me with my suitcase. He made sure all our needs are met. The location was great to explore the city. The hotel is obviously not a 5star hotel but if you are on a low budget it’s a great choice. For the price you pay you get a very fair deal. I would definitely come back and stay there again😊
