Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe felt that the supplements for the a la carte restaurants should have been less expensive. The towel operation with a card system was chaotic and not effective. The beach restaurants closed too early. There was no overlap in restaurants for our young grandchildren. Some closed at 5pm and then there was nothing open again until 6.30pm. We felt there should have been somewhere open between these times especially since the hotel is marketed as a family hotel. Many of the bar and waiting staff were overworked, there weren't enough of them and they were often inefficient and grumpy and rude. Our holiday was in May so goodness knows what they are like later on in the holiday season. The Jacaranda bar was a perfect place to sit with a drink about 6pm before heading in to get ready for dinner but the music didn't start until much later in the evening. We felt this was a real missed opportunity and we really would have liked to have the tunes from the DJ much earlier around 6pm. Lots of the hotel staff had no or very little spoken English - this often presented problems with ordering food and drinks.
We were a family with grown up children and grandchildren and the hotel offered something for everyone. Our arrival was not particularly welcoming and we all felt a bit flat with the reception from the staff. The breakfast buffet was ok but a bit samey after a couple of days. We ate in all the A-la carte restaurants which meant we had an additional £1,000 on top of the holiday price. We felt that the supplements should have been less expensive but these restaurants were superb with themed menus and decor. We particularly liked the Greek themed restaurant and the party atmosphere and dancing was great fun. Our chef Super at the Teppanyaki table was delightful and he made the experience more enjoyable. The golf on site was superb and the shuttle to and from the hotel to the golf club was efficient. We liked the restaurants by the beach for lunchtime. We found the little land train that went from the hotel to the beach area was efficient and continuous but somewhat frightening - the driver slowed down for no-one. There were plenty of sunbeds although the towel operation with a card system was chaotic and not effective. We liked the outdoor bar area, Jacaranda, with the lily pads, it was very pretty but the bar service was appalling! The staff particularly in the bar and other areas in all the restaurants looked overworked, there weren't enough of them and they were inefficient and grumpy.

United KingdomThe thing that let it down is that they did not have iron for the room to iron our own clothes and the only alternative is that we had to pay for ironing service. Also the shops in the hotel were absolute rip offs, tried to charge us £35 for a floater and £5 for a pack of baby wipes.
We loved the family friendly environment, the convenience of having things available in one place such as the buffet restaurant as well as other places to eat when it was not open. Very impressed by the level of service provided especially the WhatsApp messaging services. The staff were amazing, they were always happy to help. We were also assigned a personal guest relations staff who we had the number for, she kept in touch throughout our stay.

NorwayA slight disadvantage for the 11 year old, as neither the cinema was open nor half the games in the arcade was functioning. A few, worn table tennis tables and related equipment. Such a good hotel could have kept this in order.
Spent 14 days at the hotel (19 July - 2 August) with my 11 year old daughter. Nice rooms, good air conditioning, daily replenishment of the minibar and daily room service otherwise. Very good service in all areas and enough staff to handle most things quickly enough. Received good help from the service desk on two occasions, this when losing sunglasses and booking a taxi. The sunglasses had already been cataloged and were delivered in their own bag, the taxi arrived after a few minutes. Note, fixed price to Belek city (approx. 12 minutes) 10 Euro. Large and good menu in the main restaurant for both, at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good with alternatives otherwise. Indoor and outdoor pools, sunbeds and towels readily available. Great slides, water park with good supervision by lifeguards. Short distance to the train or boat to the beach. And - nice conditions on the beach. Clean and tidy everywhere. A hotel I recommend - also with children.

Food was amazing, staff is great. Pool and seaside is very good - although there're many people, the facility is large so you don't feel the rush or crowd.. Loved the aquapark and limitless ice-cream! Everything is very well thought of! And evening music was nice and refreshing. Staff is very friendly and kind. Thank you for making this trip unforgettable❤️

NetherlandsDuring our stay there was construction at the pier, hence our connection to the beach was not too pleasant (dust, smells, noise, no boat service); also all a la cart restaurants were closed during the winter season. Limited entertainment (few karaoke nights and disco, the club was sometimes closed for the private party/event).
Nice 5* all inclusive hotel, great for families with kids, great spa facilities (heated pools, turkish bath, hammam, sauna), kids club, near golf club (nice views).
