The room and bathroom were generally pretty much up to our expectations for this price range, but there are a few things that need to be fixed. But these were not a problem either, just be aware that you should expect them. Cleanliness, on the other hand, was not a problem at all.

Although the attractions of the Sultanahmet are about a 10-15 minute walk away, the hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood. The park opposite is a distinctly charming place. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, this is a huge thing.

The owners of this hotel go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Only rarely do you find such service in a hotel. For the price, it was a great value in a good location! Highly recommend.

We had the best experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning lady did an amazing job every day. The location is in the old city center, near all the mosques. Emir and other people who work their were very friendly and happy to help with everything.

I had an absolutely amazing experience. I had a very short visit (only one day) and I got stuck in traffic on my way from the airport so I got to the hotel at 7pm. By the time I got to the hotel, I was really questioning my decision to come to Istanbul in the first place. However, my whole day got turned around when I got to the hotel. I ended up having a wonderful time in Istanbul, albeit very short. When I was checking in I mentioned that it was my dream to visit Hagia Sophia but I was afraid I wasn't going to make it because it closes at 7:30pm. Amir who was working on the reception that day literally walked me there. And when we realized it was already closed he talked to the guards and convinced them to let me in. He also gave me great restaurant recommendations and helped me figure out how to get to the airport using public transport, which ended up costing me $10 instead of $50. The room was lovely. It's recently updated, very clean and cozy. The view from my window was amazing. You can't beat the location, it's only 15 min walk from Hagia Sophia. I highly recommend this hotel.

The place was cosy and had a warm ambiance that made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any queries or requests I had. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hotel's location was also a major plus point. It was conveniently situated near important places, making it easy for me to explore the city. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, offering a variety of cuisines. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel in Istanbul. From the cosy atmosphere to the helpful staff and convenient location, everything exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

We had a great stay at Sareban Hotel Istanbul. Albeit the rooms are small, but they are very cosy and really clean. The beds were comfortable, the owners (Emir and his brother Mehmet) are superb hosts, very kind and friendly, always there to help with suggestions. Coffee and tea is always available. The hotel is in a nice and quiet location, very close (small walking distance) to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Airport transfer is offered at a really good price. Highly recommend this hotel!

I think they were renovating and in the bathroom there was no door to cover the valves for the pipes in the shower.

Very friendly and helful staff, the manager was very eager to give advice and any information to make the trip more pleasant and easier. Each morning we were offered coffee/tea on the house. The room was a bit small but clean and cozy. Close to the main attractions in the city, walking distance to the Blue Mosque and tram stations for anything further. Also, lots of markets and places to eat around.
