Outstanding small hotel in a perfect location, minutes from restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries. Thoughtful interiors with all modern cons, extremely good staff, fun roof bar and one of the area’s top rooftop restaurants.

- “Garden view” is misleading. The room is facing the wall that is painted with a mural. Wall is right outside of the window so this view is misleading description. This doesn’t take away from the room but needs to be clarified. - We mentioned we’re coming for a personal celebration but didn’t get any compliment/note/attention on this from the hotel

Loved everything: softest beds, best sleep throughout the trip. Location is not loud but right next doors to Main Street. The cozy coffee shop downstairs and restaurant on top. Rooms are not big but have the great retro style while the furniture is new and well maintained. Staff is well organized. As well we loved the lobby area

The ambiance and vibe was amazing. The facilities were fantastic. We loved the rooftop resto and cocktail lounge. The location was also superb. Close to the busy streets but on a side quiet street so we weren’t bothered by any noise. Appreciated the complimentary mini bar, coffee/water refills and room service.

The rooms at the back of the hotel face a wall and so there is no direct daylight. However, the wall is painted with a stunning mural which made it bearable.

The rooms are comfortable and well designed with interesting decor, especially the exposed brick walls and subtle lighting. Every staff member was personable and helpful and made the visit a great success. Will return.

Just be mindful you can't drive right up to the front of the hotel, it's in an alley only accessible by foot. Not a problem for us, but it was just a little tricky to find, had to get Google maps out.

The only drawback is that the hotel is located in a place where you need to climb a hill, but the hotel itself is very good

the high temperature in the room (around 26°, even if outside it was much lower), it made it necessary to switch on the AC the service in the rooftop restaurant and bar was really slow

We spent 3 days in Istanbul and we chose RUZ hotel. Its staff is very kind and available. Clean structure, in the same building of one of the most visited rooftops in Istanbul. Also the restaurant is good. Next to the subway.

As the target tourist is European mindful of their footprint, I'd encourage to use refillable soap dispensers and glass bottled waters (or damacanas)
