Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaAbsolutely amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was in a perfect location accessible by foot to restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely helpful with any requests we had, the children especially loved the turn down service with the chocolates. We definitely will stay here again on our next visit to Istanbul.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaners always refreshed the towels, linen and toiletries. They were patient when we got up at odd times to come back to clean. The door staff and reception were always helpful and kind. They were kind enough to remember my Birthday with a surprise cake in particular Lale Mammadlova which was a nice gesture from them. So I thank them for that and their professionalism in running this beautiful hotel.

Really the place was very nice , the staff was very friendly and helpful , everything was clean and room services was very active , location of the property was very good and very close to main streets and close to many activities, the breakfast was nice also and the view from the top roof was amazing , lobby area was very elegant. Totally recommended!!

IndiaI was given a room with a broken bed when I informed the receptionist he offered to change my room and I was taken to another room to see if I liked it but to my surprise I was taken to 2 different rooms which was already occupied by other guests and their luggage and personal belongings were everywhere in the rooms. I stayed there for 3 nights and on my second night I returned to find my room and every other room in the block not attended by the housekeeping and left dirty for which they blamed the room guests for turning on the Do not disturb switch which none of us had actually turned on in any of our respective rooms ( we had taken 3 double rooms ). Most of the times the keycard would disable if kept in the purse beside mobile phones so we had to go back to the reception again and again to reactivate it. The hotel didn’t have a swimming pool! All this made me doubt if I was staying at a 5 star property.
The lobby and the close proximity to Taksim and Istiklal Street. People at the reception were good.

PolandThe best aspect of the hotel is wonderful stuff. Amazing, kind and truly smiling people, that welcome guest from the main door. Miss Lale from the guest relationship took care of every single guest, trying to make the stay nice and easy. Second benefit of the hotel is location, in the hearth of Pera, close to the Shishane Metro Station and easy to catch up a taxi. Hotel is in typical Pera's style a bit sophisticated with the old atmosphere which I love however the hotel needs a bit of renovation's touch as e.g.bathtub was full of rust which was not looking very sexy. The breakfast offered a variety of products still I couldn't fully enjoyed the taste and quality of products, coffee also would be better. In general I was happy about this hotel however in my opinion the price doesn't fully match the standard.
