Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndonesiaThe panel decoration was undone but was not really a problem.
Very strategic location and helpful receptionist staff, especially Shirin. It was exactly like what I saw in the pictures, but the bathroom is a little too small but not much a problem. My parents who are elderly were also comfortable to stay there. They have an elevator which is a plus point. I would recommend this hotel for someone who want to stay in Sultanahmet area. This place is a value for money!

IrelandOn occasion there was some noise from adjacent rooms (there were locked doors linking the rooms). But I always travel with ear plugs, so this wasn't a major issue for me.
Excellent communication from the staff. They arranged a private car transport from the airport. I especially liked the video(via what's app) explaining exactly where to go to meet my driver. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless - very clean. The location was perfect. Right next to lots of really nice restaurants and bars and only a few minutes walk from The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofía And Basílica Cistern. Taxis were always available outside and the Metro was only a short walk away too. The room was very comfortable and cool (it was facing the garden), and it was dark and shaded . The bed was very comfortable and clean sheets were changed daily. The shower was lovely and strong. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, a small refrigerator and a very large tv. The wifi was very good. I could cast from my phone to the TV, or watch Netflix without issue.

NetherlandsNothing about the property, but being so central did mean that sometimes the traffic around the streets was crazy - but this problem can be solved by booking pickups during peak times with an additional 30 minute allowance, just so you arrive at your destination on time.
Center Hill located within easy walking distance of Sultanahmet Square, which is a fantastic location for first time visitors and/or anyone nervous about walking back to the accommodation late at night. The staff were fantastic, always offering tea and helping out with other bookings. I particularly appreciated being welcomed at my taxi door even at 5am. The room I had was right at the top, which had stunning views, a truly special hamami bathroom, and was a very comfortable space. I felt safe and well looked after, I would definitely stay again.

SerbiaSome rooms have hammam instead of the usual bath. I appreciate it, it's a Turkish traditional bath, but it's a bit inconvenient to use as a foreigner. There is a fridge in a room. It works but it's slightly cold, keep it in mind. Other than that the hotel is awesome.
The stuff. They are kind, speak good english and help with everything.

Everything from the staff to the rooms location was perfect. Receptionist both were very professional and helpful. We were made to feel welcome. Booked our tour for us for a very good price and took care of everything. We had other tours booked prior to us going if we hadn’t would definitely recommend booking through the hotel.Huge thank you to both of them they made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The customer service was outstanding. One of the receptionist if I am correct his name was Şhirin and the other I didn’t manage to get the name are amazing. Checkout time is usually 12 and we got late but they were understanding about it and they let us checkout more than an hour late. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come and stay again in the future. The cleaning staff were very nice lovely ladies. Our rooms were cleaned daily so no faulting the cleanliness. They were happy to come back at later time to clean if we were in the room. We initially booked two double rooms but they upgraded one room to a connecting two rooms and the other was upgraded to triple room which was very nice. The location was very good as-well roughly a 5-6 minute walk to Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. Many restaurants close by. Walk to the nearest tram stop is only 10 minutes max which is good. Overall a very good experience. Would highly recommend. The pictures online are same as the rooms so they is no worry that you are shown different to what you will get.

The location was beautiful and close to everything aya Sofia, the blue mosque and topkapi just walking distance as well as the tram which was just 5 mins away. We also had very good extra services such as the airport transfer and the bosphorus night Cruise dinner. Basically it was perfect nothing to say. Thank you again we were well welcomed.

The hotel overall is exceptional. Room beds and bathroom (and the Hammam as well) were super clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. There is a an elevator, fridge, safety deposit and good wifi. Family friendly and safe area to walk around (mornings and nights). Only couple of minutes from Aya Sofia and blue mosque. Aslan and the whole team are amazing and they do their best to handle your requests and needs. I tried more than 5 different hotels and I can honestly tell you that this is the best one.

Greece-Great location close to popular tourist spots (only 600m from Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Cami, and Basilica Cistern). -The rooms are impeccably clean and surprisingly quiet considering the central setting. -It's a secure place even during nighttime. -The staff, especially the receptionist Mr. Lion (Aslan), are extremely friendly and hospitable, making our stay feel like being part of a family. -Communication with the hotel via WhatsApp is also effective.

ItalyStrange thing is that the door of the bathroom is not until ceiling (you can see from video I attached), the hanger for douche is too high so you need to climb to the place where you seat. The second one is not a big problem, but having door like this is a little bit disturbing of course
Location: near touristic places like Aya Sofia, Sultan Ahmet and from this places you can walk other touristic places. However, it was near touristic places, it was not too noisy in the night. Sometimes you can hear talking people nearby if the window are open, but it is not that level to disturb. It was nice to hear the voice of Azan for me, but if you are noise sensibile to any kind of noise, I should mention that you will hear it in early morning. Anyway much more silent than Taksim or other touristic places. Another thing to mention, there is not a sign shows the name of the hotel, so you can ask for the name of the restaurant that has the name before coming. It would be easier to find. Staff: the staff are really nice, kind, and helpful. They can help you to call the taxi in order to avoid scams of taxi drivers. Especially the guys in administration I think (both morning and night shifts) were born for hotel environment administration. Also the guy that was 17 years old was too kind and helpful to us. Sorry not remembering the names, I am not good at remembering names. Environment: suitable for family Restaurant: hotel has a restaurant, but as all nearby restaurant the prices are high, average delicious food, you can try mado nearby, I liked their food taste. Room: comfortable, there is a passage for bathroom, so we can say that it is designed well, all the equipments are provided

IrelandIf you want to stay near some tourist sites this is good but the downside is that you get bothered a lot by waiters in the nearby overpriced restaurants and shops. This area of town is more expensive than most places in Europe. If you want a fair priced beer you will have to take a ferry.
The staff are great, and the rooms are nice. It has an elevator too.
