Unfortunately the economy room did not have a window which was very claustrophobic. Luckily we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel rooms. The bar fridge in the economy room was broken, the freon was leaking and the fridge had to be removed from the room. There were only 2 clothes hangers in the wardrobe. There was only one bedside table in the standard room that we occupied. One of the bedside lamps didn't work at all, the other one was falling off the wall. These are relatively small things that can be easily fixed by the hotel owner / management and will improve overall experience.

We spent 2 nights in the P Galata Hotel (economy room and standard room). We loved the hotel location - very convenient with walking distance to the main historic sites and ferry. Hotel served a very nice Turkish breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our requests. BIG THANK YOU for upgrading one of our rooms to the standard category by the hotel staff. They also assisted us with airport-hotel transfers both ways. Bathrooms in both rooms were clean and renovated (however there were no towel hangers in the bathrooms).

Our economy double room was quite small for two people and didn't have a window. However - this wasn't a problem as we didn't spend a lot of time in the room (and it was still excellent value for money!)

Great value for money - especially as the location is excellent. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were efficient and friendly. I'd definitely stay again and recommend to others.

It wasn't straightforward to find when I arrived late at night. The facilities are old (elevator is too small, could only fit one person with one bag at a time). The room was good enough but nothing impressive, the window was small and it did not overlook anything (the room was between close building walls and barely any light came through). Shower head leaked from the sides when in use, the drain wasn't working properly and it was too small and made it hard to move without bumping your elbows.

It was clean, close to the pier and the staff were accommodating the nice.

Some of the facilities like doors or taps are in need of some renovation, but nothing is broken or inoperable, just used. But hey, let’s stay here and provide the financial means to make these happen 🙂

The friendly staff and the great breakfast was a great help to conquer the hills of Istanbul. The location is also exceptional, almost all of the main attractions reachable within 20 minutes.

building noises til almost 11pm were loins and unwelcome especially as some of our group were travelling the next day. staff did their best to intervene

Initially it was quite hard for our driver to find the exact location of the hotel/entrance as the entrance is on a street where car cannot go (less than 100 meters from road. We kept driving in rounds. Not sure if that's the case with other guests trying to find this place.

Perfect location, near to all transportation options. Highly recommended for families with kids as this not on any steep street, its easy to get taxi's around and tram stops are very nearby as well.
