The building was a bit old and the room were a bit small but you could live with that it was perfect place for the price we paid.

The staff was very very kind and helpful with everything we needed, and they were very friendly and professional, specially Enes at the reception and others also. The breakfast was good also they tried to change some of them daily. The neighborhood is great and it’s near to everything ( 5 min walk to metro, Galata tower, Istklal street. The day before we leave they gave us a book as a gift and some snacks for our way home which was great. And almost forgot the beautiful terrace on the roof with city view.

The hotel was in a superb location, a few minutes walk from the Galata Tower, with a great choice of restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Our room was very spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed! The bathroom was also very spacious with a powerful shower. The staff were really friendly & went out their way to help you. The breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of savory & sweet options. The customer service was out of this world with lovely wee touches. The night before we left we got back to our room to find a bag over our door handle which was a gift from guest relations of nuts & Turkish delight. The day we left we received another gift - a beautiful book on the Galata area. These were such lovely touches & made us feel really special. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we’re in Istanbul & would recommend to friends & family.

The rooms are smaller than in photos but it’s got all the essentials. Plus the location is so central that we rarely stayed at the room except at night to sleep :)

The location! Super close to Galata tower. The staff are all very friendly. They gave us a gift of nuts & turkish delights before we checked out which was very thoughtful. The breakfast has a wide selection. We’d love to stay here again.

I didn’t like that each of us in my big family had to stay in a different building. It wasn’t communicated with us. Also, the location is tricky for old people, it’s hilly with many steps. I wish I knew that before booking

AC was not working. If they could have provided a table fan, it would have been so comfortable during those hot summer days. They shouldkeep some spare fans in store for people like us.

Need to improve Wi-Fi coverage and speed.

The staff is incredibly friendly. All very responsible and professional. We would like to give a special thanks to Taha, who made our check in and made us feel very welcome. Our room was even better than it looked in the photos. They left us a bag with a sweet handwritten note and some snacks, which were very useful for our next flights. In short, I think the hotel makes out the best of the functionalities it has.

Meroddi hotel is located very close to Galata Tower and have all necessary infrastructure near to the hotel such as metro/tramway (2 minutes' walk), ground metro (7-8 minutes' walk), sea taxi (10-15 minutes' walk), shops (close to Istiklal/Galata Mall as well), our room was big with 2 sections: sleeping, and rest zone, quite clean. This hotel has accommodating and professional reception/catering/cleaning staff.
