Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomA number of things, initially we were given a bad room not as described. We had a “discussion” that started with them asking for more for a better room. I stood my grounds since I only wanted what’s on booking.com. We had a good room the next day. Little things that could be easily solved, peeling off wallpaper everywhere,shower heads that don’t sit on broken handles, door handles coming off, cracked windows, heating that seems to be on when it’s actually hot and sleeping with open windows only to get strong smell of cigarettes all day long ( then again everyone smokes )
Location and price. Staff were friendly and helpful. They accommodated arriving early. Good communication and replies to emails in advance. They have a lift that was very good.

United Arab EmiratesGood location. Many shop and restaurant around. Tram station just 7-10 minutes walk or you can walk for 15-30 minutes (depending ur walking pace) using google map to Sultanahmet. I've been staying in area closer to Blue Mosque and this hotel has bigger space. 01 Lift available but small. Airport transport can be arranged for 45 EURO up to 4 pax from IST Airport. Communication through Booking app answered quite fast. Reception speak excellent english. In house restaurant available and serving buffet for breakfast. Building quite old, however you get what you pay for.

The hotel was near the Grand Bazaar and other turistic atractions. Maradona from the reception was very helpful. The wifi was good.

United KingdomOn arrival reception manager wanted to hang onto passports, said needed them to register us, can we collect in morning. So i said no to that , i told him we’d wait. So he did that and returned them. Wasnt happy to leave passports!! Breakfast was very brief. Could of added croissants, milk was UHT so kids didnt like it. Could of provided fresh milk. There was no fruit other than melon. Bit more variety would of been better. Also the workers kept coming up to tables, trying to hurry us!

United StatesIf this hotel would ensure that each room has a working air conditioner, this would be a great budget hotel. In the rooms where the air conditioning works, the rooms are comfortable and clean. But we had issues with air conditioning in two different rooms. In one room the air conditioning didn't work. The staff did accommodate us with a room to different room, but that room did not have a built in air conditioner (although there was a hold in the wall where one used to be). So while they tried to make up for it with fans, it was not the same as actual air conditioning. If this one issue were resolved consistently throughout the hotel, I would recommend the hotel without reservation as a great no frills budget option in a great location.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They really tried to accommodate requests and make sure we were comfortable. The location of the hotel just a few blocks from the Beyazit district, tramway and the Grand Bazaar is great. It's just about a 15 minute walk to the Suleymaniye mosque and three short tramway stops to Sultan Ahmet and Aya Sofya. Breakfasts were plentiful with good selection of fresh bread, cheeses, fruits, salads and more.

RomaniaThe hotel has 9 floors with 4 floors UNDER GROUND but the pictures show only the best rooms. First room was like a bunker with a ventilator because the air conditioning was broken. When I explained that the reserved room was with windows the best they could provide was select double room with an extra bed instead of a triple. The third bed was actually a mattress on the floor.
Location close to Grand Bazar. The room had a nice view.
