They gave me the wrong room first day..even thoigh specifically asked for making sure we get the right room. 2 adults, 2kids (4and6) and a toddler 3 yrs: We got a room with a double bed and one single bed. The solution: a baby bed, and a single bed cramped in a corner. Luckily we changed room the next day. But annoying !!

I wasn't impressed with the rooms without the windows but at least these rooms were quiet !

Very nice stylish hotel just 5 mins drive by tram from all the main attraction in the historic city centre. Nicely decorated hotel, breakfasts were VERY GOOD with plenty of choices, roof top swimming pool was very relaxing. We had a small problem with our jacuzzi but the hotel manager sorted this out very fairly and with a good manners! (thank you !) Generally very happy with stay, loved the location and the kebab just opposite!

The shower was a jet shower with multiple different features which is a great concept but not very practical. It wasn’t totally clean which js to be expected when it’s very intricate. Also I found it to be very claustrophobic and very small inside in comparison to a regular shower. Breakfast buffet had some strange options - but maybe that’s because I’m a Brit. I just didn’t expect boiled carrots and cauliflower to make up part of a breakfast buffet but there was a selection of cereals and other things which meant I had something I could eat every morning!

Location of the hotel was good, about 10 steps from a metro station with easy access to the rest of Istanbul. The hotel itself looked nice, and the staff we engaged with were friendly. Both indoor and outdoor pools were great however you need to ensure you get to the outdoor pool early to get a sunbed as there’s limited sunbeds. The hotel infuse scents into the hallways which means the hotel always smells beautiful - a great touch.

A/C not working well first night. I was moved the day to a similar room but the a/c was working. There's a nightclub / loud restaurant with loud music until about 1am. Room felt a bit small.

We had to wait to check in as previous guests chose late checkout, so just sat for ages waiting. I had go go up to the desk twice to ask and on 2nd time the room was ready so they had just forgot to tell us. Similar thing happened on check out where they had to check the room. Pillows we're uncomfortable, breakfast was average (mashed potato and cauliflower on some days).

The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the hotel is within walking distance to grand bazaar and tourist sites. Nice outdoor pool.

Some rooms are not quiet. but they changed it once we asked.

It was great stay. very recommended for families. The staff was very friendly, Shaimaa and other ladies were very caring and helped us change the room as it was not quiet at night. I liked that the breakfast was included, as a family that saved us sometime time the morning to start the day looking for near breakfast location for the kids. I liked the swimming pools. in Istanbul summer we needed a refreshment and this hotel was the best combination between exploring the city and have some nice swimming activities in the mid of the day.

Nothing I didn't like but two things that could be improved is the breakfast options by making it more continental but Chaimaa sorted us out with whatever we needed. Aircons requires a service if u asthmatic you will feel tightness as my daughter did.

Location, swimming pool and the staff were amazing. The hotel itself is a bit dated but still had the old city charm. Mehmet fenebache, Mehmet 2, Murad, Chaimaa and Mawada made our stay as comfortable as we could hope for.

- Fantastic location with great proximity to metro, trams, restaurants and shops - The terrace and pool is a welcome addition to cool off and relax after a day exploring Istanbul - Very comfy bed, high standard of cleaning in the room and effective air conditioning - Breakfast was basic but had plenty of choice; eggs; bread; pastries; meats; cheeses; cereal; pancakes; waffles; Turkish delicacies - Linda the hotel dog!

The family suite with jacuzzi was smaller than I expected and the bathroom had plumbing issues. Every time we used the shower or bath, water would leak out from under the tub towards the toilet. Wash basin faucet also had a leakage. Also, the airport "VIP" transfer service used by the hotel was not very honest. The vehicle from the airport to the hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. I used the service 2 more times and both times were a disappointment. The first time, the vehicle had a smaller boot and couldn't take all our luggage, same luggage we brought from the airport. Plus the driver was cranky and rude. I complained and they promised to be better in the next ride. In the final transfer back to the airport, I was sent yet another vehicle with a small boot, and this time no air conditioning!

I liked all the amenities available at the hotel, including the rooftop pool and basement pool, the breakfast buffet, the view from the rooftop etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good too. We had dinner at the rooftop.

Amazing location. Close to metro and tramway. Unfortunately the double bed had two depressions mattress and kept moving apart. The jacuzzi wasn’t working and full of mould. Ac wasn’t working in the restaurant and lobby.

At check out they made me wait till they "checked the room". A 5-star hotel does not do that. Never happened before.
