Location is wonderful. Lovely 'side' street accessible to interesting parts of the city by foot - for those willing to walk, which we love, especially in a city as vibrant and diverse as Istanbul. Room was clean and a good size to feel comfortable, well appointed. Most of all, the people who work at casagalata35 are kind, helpful, and full of soul - perfect examples of real Turkish hospitality. In particular, Nazli Genc was exceptionally accommodating and full of joy.

Lovely and super helpful staff, gave loads of travel recommendations and even offered me a lovely Turkish coffee in the morning before I left to explore each day. Great location just a 4 minute walk from the M1 tram and walking distance from galata bridge. Bed super comfy with great pillows. Room looked exactly as advertised, nice touches with free water and snacks/juice as a welcome gift

Incredible value for money. Spacious, clean, well furnished, and newly renovated room. Strong and well running tap water and showers, and although tap water was not potable, received two complimentary 500ml water bottles daily so that was not an issue at all. Three minute walk to Iskital street. Staff were kind and welcoming.

Just as a warning for anyone not fit enough to handle it, its super hilly area. Also bring ear plugs if not wanting to be woken by morning prayer calls.

Comfortable, no noise from other rooms, slippers provided, daily cleaning and towel replacement. They provide complimentary bottled water and replenish it every day. Location is amazing as not in the super touristy bit but easy to get to anywhere and most good restaurants and bars are nearby.

You should be aware of Istanbul hills.

Friendly stuff. Comfortable rooms and kitchen. Modern design. A lot of nice cafes, restaurants and shops on the quiet street. Close to metro and tram.

Cleanliness of the glass windows and the terrace Bedsheets seemed too small for the bed Ceiling is quite low as it’s rooftop and it might be an issue if you’re taller Weird guest policy even though it’s technically apartments - they didn’t let my friend in when she came to see me neither notified me about it until she called the management

The room was quite comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. The best thing was the terrace where we could watch the sunrise and seagulls flying around, it was amazing. The lady who was looking after the apartments was really lovely and welcoming. We loved our stay and would come back again

It’s a small issue but sometimes the sounds from the hallway would travel to the room.

The staff were simply amazing. They really took care of us throughout our stay and made us feel welcome. No request was too big. I had to do some work in our room while staying, and they were very flexible in terms of cleaning the duplex unit. They also helped us in managing our transfers to the airport even if we used a third party company. Best of all, it was such great value for money. Thank you so very much, and we will be back for sure!

The value for money is off The charts. Great location (yes, it’s climb to get there but it’s at the heart of the city, next to bars, restaurants, the port). Facilities are brand new and have everything you need. People at the reception are so kind, one of them even spoke Portuguese and checked on me every time I would come in and out. Really amazing place to have as a base to explore the city.

We are very happy with our stay at Casa Galata. Rooms are very comfortable with great amenities. The staff was super friendly and beyond attentive, and made sure we had a great stay at all the times. They were very supportive with all our inquiries and we really appreciated that. The room was always very clean and cosy, and we felt the dedication in making it nice everyday after we came back from the city. Besides that the internet is fast, and we found all what we needed in our room. The hotel is located in a great area with cafes, restaurants, stores, and interesting shops within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we would highly recommend it

I had luggage and I didn't expect the walk up and downhill. This,however, was my lack of research.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with everything. My stay was extremely convenient and perfect. It was close to Metro and Tram so that was even more convenient. Food places are nearby. The mini kitchen is wonderful.

Soundproofing of doors is not very good, it’s possible to hear all that happens on the stairs

Great location near Istiklal street and welcoming staff make this hotel attractive option to stay in Istanbul. Kitchenette and washing machine are big plus and make possible to stay here even for long stay. Rooms are well designed and comfortable. Room on the rooftop is the best and has great view

Amazing location close to so many things yet tucked away on a quiet street. The room we stayed and had everything we needed, including a fridge, kitchenette, and coffee and washing machine. The staff are incredibly caring, helpful and friendly. The airport transfer was extremely convenient as well. I read some reviews complaining about the hill, but in the winter weather, it didn’t feel bad at all.
