Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomBeds were uncomfortable, but all turkish beds are so wasn't a surprise. Food was not amazing, but usually found something we liked. Very annoying that we were staying in a different building from the main hotel so we had to leave the main hotel to walk down the street to go to our hotel room.
The family room was lovely as it was spilt into two rooms & both had balconies. The children enjoyed the pool. We only experienced one night of entertainment, which was Turkish night but very enjoyable, even my Turkish husband enjoyed himself. A few staff in the restaurant was very friendly & helpful also in the reception.

United KingdomWe was a English family, the 3 kids really struggled with breakfast all there was for them was little pancakes every day which was poor, the food on the evening was good sometimes, but the food overall wasn’t good enough for a 4 star the hotel is a 3 star at best. No entertainment for kids in the day apart from music playing. Would come to alayna again but not this hotel.
The location, the beach bar, and the views from the restaurant and the room was outstanding.

United KingdomThe music at the pool was often far too loud and inappropriate e.g mysogynistic rap. Some of the young pool bar staff were very rude when asked to lower the volume or change the music. The food quality & choices, particularly at breakfast, was up & down. The WiFi in the hotel was absolutely dreadful. The restaurant opening hours for dinner were too early and too short and they were always running out of cutlery, cups and glasses.
The location and the private beach. WiFi was great at the beach and the Beach attendants were really welcoming and helpful. House keeping was excellent and some of the restaurant staff, Husien & Erge were fantastic.

United KingdomThe house keeping took laundry and dustbin down the main lift and it smelt in the lifts all the time you entered. Also the towels were changed every 3 days not acceptable as it got so dirty couldn’t shower on the last day and there was no towels available on request. make sure you take rubber sandels as the beach water is rocky.

SwedenThe bed are hard which can be not that comfortable for the one who likes more soft bed. I recommend to check of AC is working right away. I know some people had troubles and need to change room. I always would not recommend to take a room without a balcony. We didn’t had it but I saw one. it’s very small room and not comfortable at all and you will not even have place to dry clothes. I wish there would be more entertaining at the hotel specially for the kids. The hotel next to this one had it almost everyday. Our had couple of times and it was repeating.
Nice hotel with pool, restaurant with the view and close to the beach. They have two buildings and I was staying in the main one. The staff are very nice and helpful but not all of them understand English good so it’s not always they understand what you want. The hotel has nice spa and hamam. The woman who gives massage does magic with her hands. I really recommend. Food is good but almost all the time it’s kind of same thing. The bus stop is just outside the hotel and it takes you all the way to the city centre of Alanya. You can pay with your card when entering which is cheaper than pay with cash.

IrelandFirst impression of the room was a shock nothing like the pictures on the web. then beds that were worn out beds and being put in a out building at the back of the actual hotel you booked. taps leaking no towels or room service rude management,only on the fourth day something was done to change my room which I was asked to pay for the upgrade which was the the room the was the one I booked on the website. They did have a bit changes made but a little to late for me.
Local to the beach and the friendliness of some of the staff like the manageress at the spa Nacle she is the reason most of the guess stayed. and kiosk owner Moorad and a few hotel staff. the salad bar.

United KingdomDark uninviting reception, sofas like from the secondhand shop. Hardly any food if you go for a meal half hour/hour after opening restaurant. No entertainment team at all, even though it say its there 3 times a week. Staff not very social ,feels like they don't want to be there. Rooms spacious in anex building however views are on rundown buildings. Restaurant is on 7th floor so you wait ages for a lifts as it can only fit 4 persons. We didn't expect much after reading all reviews but I had hopes. definitely won't be going back there.
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment and good air conditioning. View from the restaurant is amazing with nice breeze.

RomaniaMy recent experience at the "Big Blue Sky" hotel in Alanya was nothing short of a nightmare. I feel compelled to share this review to protect others from the deceitful practices and appalling conditions we encountered. From the moment we arrived, we faced a cascade of issues, and the hotel's management was untruthful every step of the way. Despite our continuous reports to the hotel regarding the problems we faced, they blatantly lied to Booking.com, falsely claiming that we had not contacted them. This falsehood can be substantiated by our attempts to reach out to the hotel via the Booking.com app, where we received no response even before they deceitfully denied our communication. The most distressing aspect of our stay was the unbearable quality of the food. Not only was it unpalatable, but it also caused severe stomach issues, leaving us with no respite. To make matters worse, the absence of running water meant that we were unable to use the toilet or even take a proper shower. The lack of basic hygiene facilities was both appalling and inconvenient. In conclusion, after enduring three days of disappointing food, we made the difficult decision to stop having our lunches and dinners at the hotel. Instead, we had to spend additional money dining at other restaurants to avoid the stomach issues caused by the hotel's subpar meals. Throughout our stay, we encountered lies at every turn, from the hotel's management to their interaction with the booking platform. It is disheartening to witness such disregard for honesty and customer well-being. I implore anyone considering a stay at the "Big Blue Sky" hotel to think twice. The pervasive lies, food-induced diarrhea, lack of water for basic necessities, and unresponsive management create an environment of distress and disappointment.
