AC and Wifi need some improvement. Air conditioning barely worked in the morning while had to use data while being in the hotel.

Breakfast was good, so were all the other facilities.

Two different types of room, small room really is full of furniture ( no free space). After upgrading to another room ( bigger) all is good.

very poor maintenance- none of the issues we raised were dealt with - patio door not locking- shower grab came off wall, safe not working - however the bathroom was good size and nice shower with hot water . Dogs loose - young dog scratched and bit my travel companion and dog poo on the beach - broken sunbeds . certain areas need overhaul

The towels are very old and the bathroom is not clean .. The room was not cleaned daily despite of the cleaning sign ..There is no privacy in the room because I can hear everything that is going on in the next room

The hotel was beautiful, with a wonderful view, and it had a restaurant on the beach serves delicious food, and the swimming facilities are enjoyable

WiFi was poor in rooms and intermittent in common areas. We were led to believe from the description that dinner would be buffet style but this was not the case I suspect because numbers having half board didn't warrant it. Instead there was a more limited choice menu plus standard pasta/pizza offerings. However not all the staff had a full grasp of all the options you could have despite being corrected by the manager. A few staff were somewhat surly in manner on occasions. This included one incident in the hotel bar where one of the staff who went by the name of 'Mr Whatever' turned off the TV we were watching because in his view we needed to buy a drink. This was despite us being residents and buying drink over 12 nights!

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and you could ask for fried eggs, omlettes etc to be made to order. Hotel is in a great location just across from the beach with no roads to cross.

Parking staff need to tell guests to park properly. Room numbers on the walls are peeling off. Horrible cleaning, even on cleaning day balcony was never swept, Handle to adjust shade missing, A/C smells funky, needs cleaning. Tap is off center, toilet seat fell apart, mini bar fridge built in so it doesn't cool, TV has analogue VHS quality. Most staff in reception and breakfast area are arrogant or just shying away from guests, don't even say welcome or hello. Claim understaffed, but actually extremely uncoordinated, while staff is going cleaning common areas instead of doing urgent fixes or serving the breakfast area. Guests book the pool beds with towels, then go for an hour of breakfast. Staff should not allow this idiotic behaviour. Every day they turned off the water at least once without any warning,. Had to wash off using bottled water. 22:45 (!) a guy with regular street clothes knocks on the door, to take a look at the broken toilet seat. We were getting ready to go to sleep. We'd already told three reception employees the exact problem. What kind of hotel is this messed up? Very loud music on the beach, and "private" beach is nothing private, it's public, with random people taking the best spots and there's nothing the hotel can or will do about it. Spa guy annoying trying to sell you his shop, even at breakfast, and doesn't take no for an answer. Had to tell him to stop interrupting me.

Breakfast was very good. The staff in the parking are very kind. Two people, one concierge and one man in the restaurant area, are really working hard in this place, they deserve credit... and a vacation. Right on the beach. Balcony was very nice (we got upgraded...).

Safe had been closed when previous guests had vacated the room so I needed assistance to open it , but even though I asked reception to send someone to help nobody came. Which ment I had an uncomfortable vacation having to watch my valuables instead of being able to secure them.

Location is perfect. Breakfast was great. Hotel grounds and room brilliant.

This hotel is top top tier. Even if I am nitpicking, I can't think of a negative to say about this place. We came mid-October, and at times, it felt as if we had the hotel to ourselves really early in the morning. Lovely homely atmosphere in the beach restaurant of the Hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and will do everything they can to assist you with whatever you may need. The hotel facilities are unreal too, the hotel spa looks amazing, we did not get any massages (which we now regret), however the sauna and jacuzzis are free to use for hotel guests which we did most mornings.

Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a suite room, which was amazing. The suites are sea-facing, and the view from the balcony is by far the nicest view of any hotel room I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is brilliant, with such a grand entrance in the lobby. It is absolutely stunning! The staff are all very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, the reception staff are very helpful too, they can point you in the directing of anything you need, they booked us taxis whenever we needed it too.

My family and I stayed at Ambrosia for the first week of October, prices in October are brilliant for the quality and standard of the hotel. As well as the fact that it's still very warm and sunny. We recommend coming at the end of the season unless you like the real intense 40-degree heat of July/August. However, for us and the baby, October was the best choice.

Had a great stay at the Ambrosia Hotel. Stayed here for a week with my partner. Can't think of anything particularly bad about the hotel at all. The hotel has everything you need, gym/sauna/steam room/jacuzzi included. The hotel spa offers an array of treatments at extra costs. The beach is great, nice swings out in the water and a cool raft you can swim out to.

Big group of 12 of us stayed at this hotel for a week at the start of October. We were nervous incase the weather wasn't great, however, luckily it was amazing. Some members of our party have been to turkey multiple times and they said that the temperature at the end of September/start of October is perfect if you don't like real intense summer heat. The hotel is amazing, very family friendly, the kids loved it and there was plenty for the adults to enjoy too.

This was our first family holiday since covid, we had an AMAZING time staying at the Ambrosia hotel. The place is a real paradise, it really is one of the most stunning places I have been been to. Starting every morning with a coffee-or beer ;) - on the Ambrosia beach is magical. We really cant recommend this hotel enough. The value for money is amazing. You have to come!

I have stayed in dozens of hotels in my life; urban/rural/seaside, etc. The Ambrosia Beach Hotel is 100% the best hotel I have ever stayed at, all things considered. It is situated right on the coast in Bodrum. The restaurant is maybe 20 meters away from the sea. The hotel is located right in the middle of a U-shaped cut-out on the water, so there are stunning 180 degree views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Considering the location, the recent price increases in Turkey as a whole and the facilities of the hotel in relation to the price, it is insane value for money.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Haven’t been to Turkey since 2018, and I was blown away by how different the hotel is now. It was always a great hotel (the best in the town). However, now it is miles above what it was. The hotel really takes pride in ensuring that the guests are looked after to the best of their ability and that anything that could make your stay more comfortable, they will jump through hoops to make happen for you. Having read through some of the reviews before writing this one, I am absolutely mind blown of some of the negative reviews. It seems clear to me that the people leaving 1* reviews are just horrible people, every negative factor of the hotel I saw reviewed, turned out to be a whole load of nonsense.

We stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of September. We highly recommend you here for your next summer holiday. We came as a family of 5 (3 kids), the hotel supplied a cot for the baby upon check-in which is always good. The hotel facilities are fantastic, lots of fun activities around the hotel and the surrounding area. The pool is nice and big and theres a great kids pool too. hotel spa service is lovely and the restaurant was great.

We visited the Ambrosia hotel for a few nights, wish we could have stayed longer but we were just passing through Bodrum. We are frequent travellers to the area, first time staying at this hotel and it has been an absolute delight. Remarkable location, right on the coast surrounded by mountains and you can see some greek islands way in the horizon, genuinely the nicest views I have ever seen from a hotel. The Ambrosia has lots of facilities for all your needs, great spa which offers curated spa packages for all types of travellers, good gym with plenty of equipment for a hotel too. The food/drink was nice and relatively well priced for the area. Rooms were nice and clean, housekeeping came regularly (as much as you want too). And all staff are very friendly. Also most nights there is live music at the dinner service.
