The host and staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The roof terrace is a lovely space to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the medina.

The guest house should ensure that the bathroom is fully stocked, when I was there I only had one shampoo bottle.

The location of the hotel was very good as it is in the city centre but far from the noisier streets. The breakfast was very nice and it changed slightly every day. The terrace of the hotel was very nicely decorated and had the most amazing views of the Sousse Archeological Museum.

Beautiful traditional dar in the middle of the medina. We had an amazing room with good breakfast in a really convenient place. Keep in mind that some rooms come with private toilet and shower but outside your room. The owner and the staff are very kind and friendly and tried their best to help us when we had a small issue.

Breakfast was basic. The shower did not have a shower head holder which made it harder to shower.

The rooftop was very nice. With confortable seats and couches to sit on as well as a hammock. Located in the middle of the medina.

Charming historic house in the Medina. Has been owned by the same family for 200 years. Very traditional house converted to hotel. Lovely decor in rooms. Nice rooftop sitting area. Nice courtyard.

The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner.

Exceptionally charming host and beautiful guestroom. The rooftop terrasse with a view over the Médina of Sousse was fantastic and even had a hammock. For breakfast, we enjoyed fresh orange juice and homemade jam. The Dar is kept in an authentic Arab fashion and feels like a place from 1001 Nights. Walking distance to the port, the grande mosquée and the fort of Sousse. Certainly one of the best places we stayed in during our roadtrip through Tunisia.

Even though location was central, the Sousse Medina doesn’t feel that safe. However, we didn’t have any upsetting situations and it was low season. Added beds aren’t comfortable.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful room. Clean and spacious. They make breakfast a full experience and it was lovely!

Beds quite uncomfortable for us but it is a traditional house and family room. Better and updated mattresses may help.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Abdul the manager met us off the bus and walked us to the accommodation and we were looked after. Breakfast was fresh and humble. Location in the Medina is excellent and the outdoor space with courtyard and roof terrace are beautiful.

It was all good.

Place was exactly what I expected. It is a very traditional place in the midst of the souk. After navigating the lanes, you find an oasis! Nothing new, but everything is comfortable and spotlessly clean. Beds comfortable and facilities good. Breakfast is very tasty, but one comment to the owners.. MORE coffee. (But then I never asked!) STAY AT THIS PLACE, you won't regret it.

I would imagine breakfast should include fruit and yoghurt. The manger on site speaks French and Arabic and no English. We had to resort to Google Translate, which made it easier to communicate. The owner speaks English

It gives one the feel of a home of old in Madinah of Sousse. Excellent WiFi and satellite TV. Location is excellent - close to train and bus station, and the Madinah. Short walk to main road to catch a taxi The owner, Samy Baaziz speaks English and from day 1 responded to our queries and requests for information

Broken shower door.

The young man who owned the place was very kind and helpful. The 'mohammed room' on the ground floor was just great, although the shower door was broken and allowed water to escape onto the bathroom floor was the only issue. Breakfast was lovely too. Nice views over the city from the terrace.

A very homey, traditional place with very welcoming hosts. Beautiful Tunisian style house, cozy furnishings, very comfortable bed and a rooftop with some beautiful views of the Medina...

The heat is harsh, so basically two observations: it would be good to have a small fridge or a way to keep some drinks cold. And the AC started leaking, a minor detail but is worth mentioning.

The room and the place was amazing. A real jewel of the area. And the staff was very welcoming and nice!

Water turns off at 10pm

Loveliest host we have ever had. Rooms are charming and larger bathroom that we thought. Amazing rooftop and courtyard for meals. Wonderful home cooked Tunisian meals. Great access to fridge and other facilities.
