The hostel has a warm, social atmosphere with lots of well organised social events such as quiz and movie nights. While not a party hostel there is always something going on within the island that the hostel helps organise access to. The hostel really attracts the greatest people looking for connection and a fun time. Located within a quieter part of the island, a scooter is highly recommended for ease of getting around. Beds are super comfortable and the free breakfast snack is great. The restaurant next door Babaloo is a staple when you stay at Wonderland and the hostel pets are the best! I’ll be back (again) for sure sometime very soon.

It is a small hostel with only 20-25 beds, making it very personal to get to know each other. Every night there is an activity (optional of course), otherwise anyone can also chill in the common area - with pool, a foosballtable, a TV and a lot of sitting areas (couches, beanbags, etc). The beds are very comfortable, with airco running almost all the time in the rooms. The showers are large and you can loan a towel for a deposit only. The staff is extremely nice, fun and helpful with anything at any time! If I come back to Ko Tao, I will book at Wonderland again!

Never stayed in a better hostel! Volunteers here are absolutely amazing people, the vibe is very unique. Very easy to socialize here as each day there are events organised like movie & pizza night, quiz night etc. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

It's a wonderland. It's a place where you extend and then extend again. It's the best hostel I have stayed in. The staff is wonderful. The community area is magic. The beds very comfy. You will make friends here. I will always keep wonderland in my heart. If you read this, say hi to Kyle from me.

The top beds are very high, wasn’t the best to climb up. Also the location is quite far away from most of the bars en restaurants, you definitely need a scooter.

The only thing i didn't like was the surrounding construction work and heavy noise.. and it looks like this will be going on for quite some time

The staff is very welcoming, helpful and cute. It is a very social place where they organize events in the evening like pizza & movie or game nights, so perfect for solo travelers as well. You can join a hostel WhatsApp group where they give you really good recommendations how to spend your day, where to eat etc.

The aircon in the rooms could be at a lower temperature, some of the top bunk beds get quite hot.

The atmosphere and the location are amazing, the hostel constantly posts a lot of useful information about stuff to do, places to visit etc. The place is suitable for people who are social but chill, definitely not a party place but 100% a good place to come back to after a beach party and have a good night's sleep. The staff was really nice, lots of activities planned almost every night.

This time I stayed in 6 bed dorm. I repeat what I wrote on my first review for Wonderland Jungle Hostel. It is a very well-designed hostel. The communal atmosphere makes it special. The little details make you smile. The rooms are really nice and the curtains on the beds offer some privacy. I had a great time there.

These did not have a big impact on my stay, so I still give 10 stars :) My recommendations: The rooms under the common area are not sufficiently insulated. Better insulation could minimize the noise from footsteps, pool table, smoothie machine, etc. In the 12-bed dorm, inadequate ventilation resulted in a strong odor at check-in that did not abate. Additional ventilation next to the air conditioning would be beneficial.
