The noise of the construction is all day and very disturbing. We have been waked up at 8:00 by loud construction noises and the hotel didn’t warned us about that. When we noticed it to them - they told us it’s not in the hotel and therefore there is nothing they can do. Moreover almost all the services are extra charged (for instance there is no free mineral water in the room) and that is too bad for an hotel of this standing and as expensive and in comparison with the other hotels.

The room is stunning with an incredible view. The size of the room is exceptional and the room is well equipped. The private pool is great and the food is tasty. We fed the elephants which was a great experience !

The restaurant for dinner was very quiet and the food was just decent, it didn't live up to the quality of the rest of the hotel.

There’s nothing around the hotel to walk to, but we jumped in a taxi to bophut the fisherman’s village which was 400 baht. Well worth it, a great village with superb restaurants and bars.

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed! The room when we walked in took our breaths away! The views of the elephants freely roaming from our room made us feel incredibly lucky! Everything about this place is luxurious! Feeding the elephants their breakfast and dinner daily was a highlight as well as swimming in the pool and watching them enjoy their day too! If you want luxury and a truly memorable experience then this is the place for you.

Unexpected construction outside the room which meant using the private pool was not a calming experience. Hotel offered to move us rooms but it was too late to make a difference.

This property was exquisite! The room was stunning. All the food and drink was high quality. Everything was perfection. We did the cooking and cocktail making classes. They were fantastic.

There wasn't much information about the elephants and this would have been nice. There was also construction work happening which slightly spoiled the atmosphere.

While I fully understand it's in the jungle and there will be mosquitoes and other insects, our dinner experience was spoilt by a few cockroaches crawling on our dinner table, bread basket and food platter which killed our appetite.

Room is extremely spacious and super clean; accommodation is very new and in top notch condition, kitchen appliances are of quality (e.g. SMEG). Bed very comfortable, strong flow of water in the shower. Private pool was very clean. Staff is friendly, attentive and very responsive. Dinner options at the restaurant were very good and same for breakfast (choice of a starter, a bread basket and a main, selection of fresh juices etc.).

Weirdly someone knocked on our door at 4pm when we were laying down before dinner, then proceeded to enter our room when we didn’t answer just to ask us to fill out a survey - how odd

It’s far from the center which makes sense, you can’t keep elephants in the center. The hotel is under reconstruction and there’s some noise in some parts of the hotel. We didn’t hear it from our room.

Not a single thing.

A very clean and new resort, even though some facilities are still under construction. This did not take away from the beauty of the place. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I found it odd that some reviews were complaining about insects in the cottage. However, in reality during my stay, there were no signs of any insects or even mosquitoes inside the cottage. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. Special thanks to Melisse and Leila from the reception.

Beautiful hotel, scenery and rooms. Food also lovely. A little out of the way but was perfect for a relaxing 2 night break in between a longer holiday. High recommended!

The staff at the breakfast was a bit grumpy! Not all of them but most of them were unpleasant. The breakfast menu could have more options and the coffee and juices could be improved. All the finishings of the room and the hotel is high end apart form the kitchen. Mind the hotel is new and still expanding so you can hear the workers during the day. It did not bother us though.

The room is breathtaking! I love that they use the salt to clean the pools. Waking up in the morning and going down to say hi and feed the elephants that are freely running in the nature is just so wholesome. I loved the bed, I slept like like on the cloud, for my husband it was a bit soft. Depends on your preference. Housekeeping amazing! The hotel is very close to Fisherman’s village (2mins by motorbike) so plenty of options for dinner and drink. Also great location to visit the most beautiful beaches of Koh Samui.

No ac in the lobby area or the restaurant / bar

Every small detail has been taken care of inside the cottage. From the smeg appliances, tea selections, bag, hats , mosquito spray etc It really makes you feel at home. The views are crazy, the staff are lovely. The food is amazing! So much love has gone into this place

The front desk could be reinforced with the support of a more experienced person. Another thing that could be greatly appreciated would be a shuttle to the beach or to the fisherman village for instance.

The cottages are very welcoming and well furnished, providing all the amenities and quality one could want and a bit more. The staff at the restaurant and spa were lovely and feeding the elephants in the morning was a fun experience. The location is a bit separated from the rest of the infrastructure but the views are worth it and the quite at night as well (keep in mind that there’s a construction site during the day at this time)

Only thing that I would like to see changed would be that the Elephants had a water hole/pool that they could play in. They are showered with the hose but would be nice to see a pool for them. Other than that the stay was perfect and I will return with my children this year
