SwedenSometimes the power shut off, but it only lasted for minutes. There were a lot of small bugs (I think) crawling on the walls, sink, desk etc. It was not super clean when I arrived (hairs on the bathroom floor, vague stains on the sheets as if they didn’t disappear when washed) but overall pretty clean and tidy.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location with walking distance to the beach, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants etc. There’s a bus stop just across the street and the bus comes every 10 minutes, easy and cheap. The pool is a 1min walk from the hotel and I usually had the whole pool for myself, it’s not very big but it’s clean. It’s suitable for solo travellers, families and friend groups.

It was clean, quiet and simple. Beds in shared rooms had curtains and seperate toilet to shower which was good.

AustraliaThe hotel is nice but has no restaurant for breakfast and has no pool. It's misleading on the website as there is a picture showing the pool. The hotel next door let's guests use the facilities. Breakfast is buffet style and expensive at 300 baht and the food was average. Tv was rubbish as the English channel is limited when it's working. Basically all foreign speaking channels. Staff said the storms had knocked out the other channels but could not fix them.b

JapanAs soon as we occupied the room we had to ask for new bedsheets because they were dirty, also for new towles. The room itself was dirty too, there were cigarette butts on the balcony from previous guests and was not cleaned. There was a renovation in the building so everything was covered with dust. We had problems 2 times with the safe, it was not working properly, we had to call them to fix it. The man receptionist was kind but the night shift receptionist woman was rude, when we told her we have a problem with safe she told us she was busy (indeed was very busy watching a TV show on the pc). Also, don't expect the place to be very bright. The shower is very dark, the lightening in the room overall is very very poor. The water pressure in the shower is also very weak, it took us about 30 mins to wash our hair.
Location was very good. Breakfast had many choices, also it was delicious. Spectacular view from balcony.

Great location for Ao Nang beach, opposite a 7 eleven. Room was comfortable and cleaned everyday. Pool is in the hotel next door - it’s a good size and not very busy when we visited.

MalaysiaDeposite is 1,000baht. Only cash accepted. I think the deposit is too high, for someone who travelled only for 1 place in 1 country, it's a bit hustle.
I stayed here 4 days 3 nights and I had a blast. This hotel nearby everything. 7eleven, foods, stalls, beach only 5 mins walk. They do provide breakfast cost 300baht. They have swimming pool as well but it was in different hotel (behind Wake-Up Hotel). Staff were very welcoming, I like the room service staff, very kind and polite. Thank you for the great experience, definitely will be back here!

United KingdomUnfortunately apart from the one member of staff, who was quite helpful, the others just didn't seem bothered about their guests and barely even said a word. No one came to clean the room during the whole 5 days I was staying there and I had to keep asking for basics like toilet paper, since there was zero housekeeping. Very poor lighting in the room, as well as in the corridors, always very dark. Not a social place at all, in fact it seemed practically empty which was very eerie.
Good location, very close to Aonang beach and all the restaurants. Easy access to a 7-eleven, right across the road. The room was quite spacious with big lockers for the bags (bring your own lock) and the bed was a good size and comfortable. Also a fridge was provided in the room and the reception staff let me have an extra key card so I could keep it running, since I was carrying medication that requires refrigeration. Free filtered water in the lobby which is always a plus!

It was a nice and comfortable hotel! At first i had a very low expectation about this hotel since theres a lot of bad reviews. But when i arrived there, the staff greeted me with a friendly smile! And they were very friendly. I read alot of complaints about the aircondition. But, little reminder, u must close the sliding door all the way or else the aircon will stop automatically. It was so cold at night. The location is veryyyyyy strategic very close to the beach. I love it! And the best part of this hotel, u can sleep at the lobby while waiting for the airport transfer. Weeee Dont forget to prepare 1000 baht for deposit. Thats all!

Great location close to the beach. The hostel has access to the hotel next door’s pool. Ask them to take you up in a golf cart to the infinity pool, it was amazing.

SpainCheck in is at 3pm and check out is at 11. I don't think is a big hostel to have that much delayed in have the rooms ready but that is the only thing I can complain about.
Bed was nice, location was nice and room was nice. Room doesn't have cupboard for clothes, only few hangers... but it was ok. It has the hand wash, the toilet and shower separate from each other, and the hand wash is in the room. The sun was the whole day pointing our room and it gets super warm but aircon works fine (a bit tricky to find out how it works but when you find it all good). You can use the swimming pool from the other hotel which is quite nice. The last day we left our luggage in reception, went to visit other island and went to the swimming pool in the other hotel to change clothes and have a last swim before go to the airport. You can book transport to the airport in reception but do it in advance as it can be fully booked.
