Great place! I stay in this hotel every time I go to Chiang Mai. The room is spacious and comfy. The staff is lovely and very thorough in their cleaning. It has nice facilities and the lobby is convenient for calls or hanging out.

The doors and locking system are a bit old-fashioned and not very pleasant to use. Room insulation is not very good, and may pose a problem if you have noisy neighbors. My window overlooked the windows of the rooms opposite, so you'll need to keep your curtains closed if you want privacy.

Spent 2 nights in Vista Hotel after a 2 days trek and I had a great time. Simple and spacious room, contains everything you need (AC, fridge, free bottles of water, ...). Good lighting. Very clean. Bathroom is small but was not a problem. The mirror is quite low, so it's a bit tricky if you're a tall person (but like everywhere else in Thailand). Good location and quiet neighborhood. Everything within easy walking distance (7/11, city center, nightclubs). There's a night market nearby where you can eat very well for cheap ( < 100 bath). There's also an excellent massage room just a minute's walk away. The hotel courtyard is pleasant, with a small terrace if you're a smoker. The establishment is very pleasant and I recommend it if you stay in Chiang Mai.

The ac faces one of the beds directly in the twin room so the person sleeping there needs to be careful! One person is freezing while the other is feeling hot...

As other reviews have noted, the bathroom did smell at night but just leave the door shut and it's fine. The cleaners come early (around 10am) so I always declined them but not a problem if you are out and about early. WiFi did cut out a lot, came back straight away but video calls were stunted by it

Large room, fridge, hairdryer, TV. Beds were comfortable. Located near loads of restaurants, cafes and massage places. Not noisy, could hear some noise from hallway but not too bad. Very basic room, no frills but did the job

The staff were less than hospitable. We arrived early and wanted to see if they could hold our luggage before check in at 2pm. As I walked to the front desk, the guy gave me a look that made me feel like he was questioning what I was doing there. Before I even got a word out, he pointed to the 2pm check in sign. Was able to leave luggage until check in time but felt put off by our first interaction. We don't ask for early check in with previous hotels in Thailand. Typically they will let us in early if room is available but if not, it was never an issue with us. None of the staff we encountered seemed like they were happy we were there.

Walkable distance to restaurants and shops. The hotel was big and clean.

Very good location right next to tamples and bars. Hotel was nice and clean. We had room on the ground floor what wasnt very good. It was dark, windows were covered by the wall. There was very bad smell coming out of toilet and sinks. We asked for another room but they told us they will clean it better what didnt help. This hotel is good but ask for room on higher floor.

Made me change rooms for the second night (2nd floor) as I extended my stay whilst there. The second night room had a bath and the water was very very slow to pour and only luke warm.

I've already submitted a review of this property because I had two single night bookings. A great modern bathroom on floor 3 with a good shower (no bath).
